At least one source is reporting that The Twilight Saga: New Moon's sub-premiere (as the official premiere will take place in Los Angeles, of course, on November 16th) in Knoxville, Tennessee on November 17th will be attended by Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
The showing is meant to benefit a local children's charity, and a drawing/lottery will be held for the opportunity to purchase tickets for the event this October. According to the same source, those selected to have the opportunity to purchase the tickets will have to have $100 for each of the two potential tickets on-hand, as this is the cost for general admission to the event.

how come they did not include rob tha's a big mistake.remember it's for charity they migth as well include rob summit is really bs.
Rob can't attend everything, his schedule only needed to be clear for the LA Premier... I do find it slightly upsetting that Rob and Kristen are not more 'for the fans', I understand they are 'mega' stars... but WE made them that way. All the other stars attend events such as Twilight Conventions and EyeCon, things that get them close to the fans, I don't see why they can't as well. I know they can't make all of them, but if I were their PR rep I would make it mandatory for them to sign up and attend 4 conventions a year. Thats NOTHING to the amount of conventions Kellan and Ashley and Peter attend and if you ask me, those actresses and actors are just as important as Rob and Kristen are.

I here u, Jessica, reality check for some people, STAT. Plus, I think that over-exposure RP is facing now could actually damage him, and his career. It seems that Summit has finally started to realize that for they have minimized his appearances lately. I read all over the Internet people complaining about him and Kristen showing at VMA for 30 seconds, avoiding the red carpet, but I think that was good and smart. VMA are not about twilight or Robert Pattinson after all, but about music and it was nice of both rob and kris that they gave away the spotlight to the musicians.
I read this article and once again I am very upset that Rob won't be making another event that I can actually go to since Knoxville is just two hours from where I live in Georgia. I was also reading some of the comments that fans/viewers of this article were posting and I think it is a shame that they do not allow him to be at any of these events on the count that most of his fans somehow over react when they get to see him. I mean really they shouldn't punish all of the fans that have went out out and supported him and the movie. Plus I hate being rude about Robert since I love him all so much but we all know that both him and Kristen were probably out having a good time since you could tell on the VMA's that they both had been drinking to much and thay is so not good for their image I'm like everyone who I have talked to about ot, they should have waitind until afterwards to go have a drinks because she was like loud and well he could hardly even talk or walk....
New moon is all about Jacob and Bella so it is appropriate that
Taylor and Kristen attend the function. Eclipse will have more of Edward in it. Folks, they have to follow the books!
I live about 2 miles from the theatre that's hosting the premier, so I'm really excited about it, even though Rob won't be there. I'm going to enter next month for the drawing on Nov. 3rd, and hope I win!
Everybody that's whining about Rob Pattinson not being there.lol This is for charity not THE premiere,so just ask your mommies to buy you a ticket to go to the LA premiere. Problem solved! If you just want to see the stars and not the movie, and don't give a damn about the charity, then it's free to stand out there for hours to do so. The Knoxville event is not for children if you ask me. It's for adults who also love Twilight for a good cause.
