The old adage that suggests that there are no small parts must ring true for Justine Wachsberger, an actress who makes a small, but important cameo in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Wachsberger talked to Moviehole about her work in the picture recently, and she expressed her gratitude for getting to play a part in the film.
Her part? She's Gianna, the lovely human receptionist for the New Moon Volturi, who surprises the seemingly un-surprisable Bella Swan by putting herself at their mercy in hopes of becoming a vampire instead of food.
In her interview, she talked about a lot of things New Moon, and she responded to a suggestion that there were rumors about a possible Volturi spin-off.
I have heard the rumors! If those rumors became reality, I would of course be thrilled and would definitely be interested in continuing my role as “Gianna.”
Thoughts? Something you'd like to see? Those rumors, in case you're wondering, came from an interview that producer Wyck Godfrey had earlier this year. This isn't the first time Wachsberger has talked about her interest in a Volturi spin-off. Back in July, she admitted to having an interest in the same, saying that Gianna definitely had her own story to tell. You can read the full interview with Moviehole here.

How would that even work? This is Stephenie meyer's creation and somehow I don't think she'll be handing over the rights to anyone to use her characters, unless she has written their parts specifically.
