Several sources are reporting that casting for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's Clearwater siblings has just been confirmed by Summit Entertainment.
For the part of Leah Clearwater, it will be Julia Jones, and for Seth Clearwater it is the oh-so-adorable Boo Boo Stewart, the reports state.

Principle photography on "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," is underway in Vancouver, Summit Entertainment said in a statement released today.
There will be a few new faces in this third installment of the popular vampire franchise.
"Along with director David Slade, several new actors are joining the TWILIGHT family including Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria, Xavier Samuel as Riley, Catalina Sandino Moreno as Maria, Jack Huston as Royce King, Julia Jones as Leah, BooBoo Stewart as Seth, and Jodelle Ferland as Bree," Summit confirmed.
Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight are also running similar accounts.
Leah and Seth are the brother and sister pair of to-be werewolves in Eclipse, whose parts in Breaking Dawn are of paramount importance to the series. Bree is the tiny vampress who Dr. Cullen offers to take under his wing at the end of Eclipse, but whose affiliation with Victoria's army is too problematic to remedy.

Vancouver, BC – August 18, 2009 – Summit Entertainment announced today that it has commenced principal photography on THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE directed by David Slade (30 DAYS OF NIGHT, HARD CANDY) from a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. The third film in the studio's TWILIGHT film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster book series, will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE brings back members of the Quileute Indian Nation; the classmates of Bella and Edward; and the legendary Volturi, a venerable coven of vampires who weigh and impose the laws of the vampire world. Seth is one of my fav in the books.. I think that kid is a perfect fit.. In the books Seth in an adorable and noble kid and it think BooBoo will do just fine!
ok Boo Boo is the right age for Seth... but Julia is surely way too old for Leah, Julia is in her late 20s and Leah should be a yr older than Bella.
Also you would think that as the actors are playing brother and sister they would choose 2 people who looked vaguely like siblings?

I think Julia will be great for the roll. Of course she is in her twenties but that all has to do with clothes and make-up. They can definantly make her look like she is only a year older than Bella. I mean look at Hannah Montana.. Jason Earles is in his early 30's and he plays a teenager. It's all about make-up and clothes

If I can get past his name, he looks like a good Seth. And I hate to be catty, but I'm just relieved the 5-minute rumor scare about VH was false. Jones is beautiful. Starting to wish I was native American:-(

how come summit choice take off your cloths no good role model!? julia jones is 28 by the time breaking dawn comes out she will be thirty!!! why oh why did they not stay true to the books!? im so sad...:( what do you guys think???? i would have much rather seen Qorianka Kilcher or kayla bearclaw play LEAH clearwater!! they would portray her right!!

I mean, she is (and looks) Leah's age and because of all the rumors, I started to get used to her as Leah. Even if I didn't like her, it got stuck in my head. : / Anyway, Boo Boo looks sweet. lol I have a cat names Boo Boo... I got her when I was 3. Haha, funny stuff.

ok i will judge, she's TWENTY-EIGHT, ok well i admit that's not that old, but it's way too old to play leah. but i'm still going to wait until i see something official. like someone said Jason Earles from Hannah Montanna is in his 30's and is pulling his role off. so you guys stop complaining and wait til you see some clips with her in it in make-up and clothes, she could look alot younger and might even be the perfect leah. so don't judge now, wait until something official is out. David is making the right choice i'm sure, and he knows to please the Twilight fans, or they will al go crazy. so just wait and see. you ALL said the same thing for Dakota and look at her as Jane, with a little time in hair and mkae-up and some red contacts she looks like Jane (you know without the brown hair at least). i didn't want Vanessa i actually would've perfered Leah being cut out of the movies than have her playing the role. But i'm intrested to seeing what Julia portrays Leah and how she looks.
They are not at all, what I pictured Seth and Leah to look like! Julia Jones, doesn't look absoloutely gorgeous. I think she is just average. I agree with 'poppy', I cant see her taking on the role and being very bitter and mean...

exactly Maddie, that's what I've been saying all along, wait until you see something official from the movie and see if you approve then and not based off some picture that doesn't even show her in character.
and i know this might sound weird but for some odd reason i always pictures Seth to be caucassion (white, i don't know how to spell a big word, yet i'm taking Accelerated Reading this year) it's weird but i always picture Seth to be white, and i have no idea why because he'a a Quileute (ya i spelled that right) and i pictured everyother charcter to have to reddish brown skin but not Seth it's weird, but i do kinda see BooBoo playing Seth, how old is BooBoo anyway (and am i the only one that laughs when i say his name? lol)
I always pictured Seth as looking like Seth Green (the actor) - I guess just because he's the only other Seth I've ever known or heard of (Seth Green has red hair and white skin). So even though I knew in some part of my brain he was Quileute, I still always thought of him as having red hair. Weird, huh.
Sweet! Bella and Edward will be going to Miami. I loved that bit in the book.

JULIA JONES IS AMAZING!!! Can't wait to see her portrayal of Leah. I heard she's a Columbia graduate and turned down a bunch of men's magazines. Leah needs a good role model who's strong AND intelligent. This is the best choice!! Good job.

In movies, it is all about the make up, clothes and acting, that make you whatever age the script calls for. Most of the time real age has no bearing.
No one *ever* believes me when I tell them my actual age. So it goes to show you that you can be *up in years* but look like your running with spring chickens. BAH!

So, I'm guessing they didn't include the part of Sue Clearwater in any of the scripts? It is a small part, but still a recurring part all the same.
I disagree with a lot of posts below. Julia (I'm picturing her with short hair) looks a lot like what I pictured for Leah and I think she is pretty. Most of the actors are older than their characters. I can't wait to see what David does with this movie.
I think the choice for Seth is perfect as far as looks go. He was my daughter's favorite character (yes, really!) in the series and Boo Boo is exactly how we both pictured him.

I like Boo Boo (lol) as Seth. He is close to what I thought Seth would look like (not white like AshleyGreenFan lol Too Funny) As for Leah, Julia FOR SURE has that look but I thought the character was the same age as Sam?? Someone double check for me but I thought Leah and Sam dated before he "imprinted" on Emily? Overall I like the choices and hope they do a good job because Seth and Leah are two of my favorite non-main characters in the book.
BooBoo Stewart as Seth Clearwater is a prefect choice the pick for Leah OK not what I was picturing! Seth is suppose to be little I mean as little as the smallest mutant size wolfs can be LOL!!! Just be glad Leah didn't go to Vanessa Hudgens BLAH....LOL
