Either The Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Boo Boo Stewart is one optimistic puppy (and so is his rep), or Twilight fans are in for one wild ride.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Stewart implicated that he would be a part of the next three Twilight series films. Apparently, that was the same story offered by his representative when announcing the casting news about Stewart.
Of course, we all know there will be a definite three films total, probably four if Breaking Dawn is made, but five? Where would the fifth come from?
Well, it's a myriad of possibilities, the likeliest of which is that Breaking Dawn would be a two-part film, like Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part I and Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part II. This is sheer speculation of course, but given the fact that there are only four books in the Twilight series (two of which have already been filmed, sans Boo Boo Stewart) as well as the fact that even author Stephenie Meyer has taken note of the inherent difficulty in bringing a book with Breaking Dawn's complexity to life in one film, it's a possibility to be sure.

I am certain that you meant to say Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part I and I am certain that you meant to say Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part II. The Half Blood Prince was just released and is only 1 offering. : )

I did here a while back that they were considering making three films, for each section of BD. I would be totally fine with that. Course as long as they kepp very close to the book and not leave much out. I don't care that there are some things that they feel are inappropriate for younger viewers. Do they realize these kids hear and see and know more then what is in the book.

yeah apparently Stephenie Meyer said that they might have to make Breaking Dawn 2 movies.i cant see them making 3,one for each section,because Bella book one is just too short to be a movie.

i knew quite a while ago that they are going to do breaking dawn and very likely make it into two movies...pretty much everyone in the twilight mania knows that already.
I have read that people do not think that Breaking Dawn should be censored because of its content, and young viewers overexposure to graphic images in our current culture. The attitude seems to be they have already seen it so who cares. Yes that is true but I agree with Meyer's and I say this for myself, "just because that is true does not make it right." I for one would be very upset if Breaking Dawn turned into soft porn like True Blood. Not only would I be upset but I would not go see it or purchase it or any merchandise related to it.

Twilight is not Harry Potter! Breaking dawn should be two movies, because there are two very different stories. And I really hope that it is as verbatim to the book as possible. I do think it will be hard to make it a movie that will be OK for teens, because I am not sure the last book should have been marketed to teens. This series has such an adult following, and they should keep with that as well. I just hope they stick to the book whenever they make it!

I do not think they should censor Breaking Dawn at all...if you don't like it don't go see it.Its not like every person who read the book didn't already picture all the images in their head! Its going to be so stupid if they change it up just to make it "child friendly"...make it rated R and then let the children's parents decide whether or not to let them watch it.
It says Deathly Hallows it doesnt say Half-blood Prince. People need to read better. I heard stephanie say she would have to split Breakind Dawn into 2 movies. There is too much that happens in the book to fit into 90 minutes. But she also said it would be hard to find a baby to play Renesmee but hey thats what computer animation is for. If Stephanie Meyer losses this suit going on with Jordan Scott there wont be a 4th movie.

I am going along with the concensus that Breaking Dawn needs to be two movies. There is just waaayyyyyy too much stuff that happens to condense it into one flick. Books One and Two (Bella and Jacob, repectively), should be one movie, with the cliffhanger on whether Bella lives through the birth or not (for people who don't know). And have the second movie be Book Three (Bella). I think that's the logical way to go. And the movies would both have to be two hours long, of course.
It seems to me like there trying to make BooBoo into another Taylor. I think they should make BD into 2 movies as well, and i think they shouldn't censor it, but if they had the scenes in the movie like they had in the book they wouldn't have to censor anything because there were very few details in the book, about what went on during Bella and Edwards honeymoon. Of course, most people assumed what happened but it wasn't shown/written. So in the movies they could just have a leading up moment and then a "fade to black" moment.
why cant they just make BD one film and have it like 4 hrs..it makes no sense to make more then one film whats the difference for cryin out loud, theres a lot of long movies out there so do it with BD, theres no law that states the movie has to be 2 hrs
breaking dawn has to be made into multiple movies becuz in that book u cant realli leave n e thing out...the whole story line is essencial. as for the rating i definitely think it should be for a more mature audience...i mean even if its rated r theres gonna be millions made on it regardless (i kno im gonna c it either way) but it doesnt even have to be that detailed if they make it like it is in the book itll still be acceptable.

I think when he says the next 3 films, he is referring to, Eclipse, being, 1, and then Breaking Dawn being 2 more films if broken up. I am all for BD being broken into 2 parts..keeps the saga going and they make each film full of everything the book entails..no need to skip anything! So Boo Boo would be correct if they do Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn part 1, and Breaking Dawn part 2...which make 5 films total!
Even 2 BD movies seems too much for me unless there's ABSOLUTELY no way way whatsoever to strip the script so the running time would be down to the 3-3.5 hour range of LOTR. they would have the box office respect already to demand at least the possibility of going 3-3.5 hours and not just 90 minutes. IT AINT GOING JUST 90! after all twilight was basically an indie on steroids that got 2 hours. New Moon is probably gonna get more than 2 hours (i'm thinking the Final Cut in November will be 2:15-2:20) and Eclipse will most likely as well (i'll say 2:20-2:30). Steph need not worry, they're not getting just 90 minutes to tell Breaking Dawn.

I think it would be great if they turned Midnight Sun into a movie. I wasn't very impressed with the way they did Twilight (After seeing only the previews for New Moon its obvious with a better director and more money Twilight would have blown us away.) So a re-do in Edwards POV would be a fantastic treat!

No you're right. I was just saying it would be neat if they made Midnight Sun into a movie. I'm sure they will turn Breaking Dawn into 2 parts, they want to keep their cash cow going as longggggggg as possible. I'm fine with that though because I'm not sure what my life will become once the Twilight Saga is completed on the big screen. *Sigh*

Of course Summit wants to keep milking the cash cow for all its worth. they've proven to be more about the $ first than the fans (contrary to what they want you think) with the Rachelle incident, so it's safe to think that BD will be 2 movies rather than 1 - but as i posted i think it can be done (as well as possible) in just 1. And while it would be cool, we certainly aren't going to see Midnight Sun the movie in this saga's lifetime, i'm still waiting for Steph to finish the book (i'm betting 2011/12ish). maybe when hollywood thinks its time to remake these movies (circa 2028) then maybe we'll see Midnight Sun the movie.

I love your BD breakdown it is right on the money, but I have issues with movies over 2 hours and 15 mins lol I tend to fall asleep even if i love them! I think everyone is right they will make two movies just to keep us twi-hards happy.

umm yeah theres only four books "midnight sun" is NOT complete maybe some people should read stephanies web sites and i dont think they are going to make breaking dawn into 2 parts sorry my opinion
i deff. dont want breaking dawn put into two movies. it would just take to long, and i dont want to wait. i would rather stay 4 hours to watch it than wait months in between. and about this boo boo character. i dont like him as seth. he just looks too little. i know seth is only like 15 but he is going to be a wolf so they should cast a 18,19, or 20 year old because they are supposed to be big guys. he is just to little,, and a little cocky if you ask me.
well just an FYI to everyone, i dont think Boo Boo is talking about being in Midnight sun... the reason i think that is true? Because he wasnt in twilight... he wouldnt fit the story.... so there... i dont think they should split BD either but im no hollywood director/producer...
if they do i hope they have like Rosalie standing in the moonlight or sunlight holding Renesmee and then Renesmee opens her eyes and then they close up to Jacob's face and cut to black. and then for the second one i think at the end in a great way to announce Stephenie it finshing Midnight Sun, like at the end they should rewind all the movies from Bella's POV and then cut to black and then you see a golden eye open and they zoom out to Rob face, maybe him doinf the famous crooked smile, and the roll the credits.

Boo Boo probably meant that Breaking Dawn will be made into 2 parts which I wouldn't be too happy about cause that means having to wait for the second part to come out. I would much rather they made breaking dawn like 4 hours long but on the other hand of making sure that everything from the book is in there 2 parts is a good idea. Breaking Dawn was my favorite book from the series so I would want everything in there.
Leonard's time line of what breaking should be is good but with just a little more time on vampire Bella and the Volturi showdown. Also I wouldn't want them to censor it and try to make it a lower rating because in the book there wasn't much detail to what Edward and Bella did during their honeymoon (even though we all know) even if they give Breaking Dawn an R rating I would still go see it
Boo Boo may just be drumming up publicity. By the time a 4th movie would be made, the actors will be older, and probably wanting to move on in their careers. I'd be surprised if a 5th movie happens.
Maybe Ms. Meyer will finish Midnight Sun and we can have that as a film to make up for Twilight not being the greatest film?

i replied to an earlier comment saying he/she wanted Midnight Sun the movie. i said while Midnight Sun the movie would be cool, we are not going to see that movie in this saga's lifetime with this cast - especially since steph hasn't even finished it (i'm thinking the book comes out after all the movies). i then said maybe we will see it when hollywood decides it's time to remake the twilight saga around 2028 (hollywood seems intent on remaking every 80s movie right now so 2008+20) and Tiffie'Joe said she'd be 47 then.
trust that Breaking Dawn will come out in 2011, Summit would have to be total and complete idiots not to do that. you can bet that on Nov 21 when estimates say NM did ~$50M on opening night, they'll officially announce BD.
i hope BD can be made in 1 film!3h and 30 minutes, kinda like the lord of the rings 3,i think it can be done without cutting the film in two,dividing the movie in three parts, 1h to the wedding and honeymoon, another to the pregnancy,reneesmy´s birth,and the other 1h30 to bella´s imortality, her power, trainings and the volturi conflict.I think it can really be done!!! without cutting important scenes of the book and dividing BD into a second part!!!!!11111
