What started as a simple bet has turned into a tweet-olution.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Nurse Jackie star Peter Facinelli made a bet with his friend Rob DeFranco that he would not be able to get 500,000 Twitter followers by this Friday, June 19th. The stakes? Facinelli's actor chair from Twilight if he loses and Rob DeFranco's Hollywood Boulevard dignity (video-taped dancing to Facinelli's famed favorite song "Single Ladies" in a string bikini) if he wins.
In support of Facinelli's movement, celebrities such as Ryan Seacrest, Demi Moore, Perez Hilton, Gil Birmingham, and Billy Burke came out in support with their own supportive tweets (see the photos below).
With 174,000 followers, Facinelli's time to meet the 500,000 goal is ticking down quickly.
Those who aren't already should follow Peter Facinelli on Twitter and help him meet his quota. The video that will follow will be well worth the effort.

I am amazed at how Twilight fans were able to shoot Pattinson to the top of Vanity Fairs hot guy list in a matter of days but they are unable to give good guy Facinelli some Twitter support. Come on people are you true fans or not?

Peter did an imature thing.He really shoudn't have made that stupid bet.But, if he wins we all get to see Rob DeFranco dance to Single Ladies in a strip bikini taped!But, if Peter loses he loses his chair in Twilight.Boo!Peter has to win,Doesn't he?:(
