There's a "fan event" in the United Kingdom, a special screening in Knoxville, and now a special screening in Bedford, Texas of The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
This special screening will take place on November 19th at 8:00 p.m. (which is four hours before its midnight release) at the Movie Tavern in Bedford, and the screening will benefit the local Tarrant Area Food Bank.
Tickets are $15.00 for the screening, with a one dollar surcharge, and can be purchased here.
The event will also sponsor a merchandise raffle, with the proceeds also going to the Food Bank.
Sterling Biegert, the owner of Bella's Twilight truck, will make an appearance with the truck at the screening as well.
According to the organizers, the Tarrant Area Food Bank helps thousands of Texan families a year.

Don't buy tickets from this link. It is a possible scam. The movie tavern in Bedford has no record of this event. The only showing they are doing on Thursday is the one at 12:01, and this is coming from a manager.
I have my tix for the midnight show in Dallas...that is so cool to be doing a nice thing, though.
THIS is what I love about the Twilight world, all the charitable things that go on with it. Vamp Baseball for Make a Wish, Peter and the blood drive (and so many others, he is quite a giver), Peter also brought our attention to Alexs Lemonade Stand Foundation (which I contribute monthly to through the Combined Federal Campaign), Where there is Twilight, there is GOOD DOING by its cast/crew and fans! THIS is why I love everything Twilight. I wish I had a way to start something like this up down here. Its a wonderful idea for a GREAT cause!

When and how do you get the tickets? I sent a PayPal payment for $48 (3 tickets), and was not redirected and did not recieve and e-mail with the tickets. You might want to include some additional information. The PayPal address is an individual. Who is that?
@Laurie - The payment is going into the account of my partner who is Audra Sanders. After you made your payment you should have been directed to the page that tells you about the confirmation email.
Once the transaction has been processed through paypal, we will be sending you a confirmation letter. You will need to bring this letter and a picure ID with you to the theater and you can pick up your tickets at the Will Call table in the lobby.

Very Sorry!! I never received the confirmation email after I purchased the tickets and when I called the Movie Tavern they said they knew nothing about the event. I called again today and they said something was posted on their bulletin about it today. So I retract my statement. It is NOT a scam.
Hey, Amanda, do you know if they are going to be doing anything in the Kansas City area special? Probably not, but if they do, I'd definitely go!

I got my ticket for the bedford showing on the 19th and yes i got my confirmation email, they said we have to print out the letter and take it to the theater the day of the showing to get the actual tickets. the event starts at 6 and movie shows at 8. sooooo excited. YAH. maybe someone famous will pop up. lol.
Hello - got my confirmation email today as well. I am pretty excited - I was planning to see the movie at the Bedford Movie Tavern anyways since it is closest to where I live, but now we get to see it in advance! Thanks for helping set this up Amanda!
