At this year's MTV Movie Awards, we all know, The Twilight Saga: New Moon star Robert Pattinson and his Twilight co-star Cam Gigandet won the award for "Best Fight" for their vampire-to-vampire show-down in the 2008 film.
Yet, that is not the only fight we're going to see out of Pattinson in the Twilight series.
In The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, we will also get to see some fighting - with his female co-stars Dakota Fanning (co-starring with Kristen Stewart in The Runaways) and Rachelle Lefevre.
In the book, New Moon, Edward and Jane (Fanning's character) have an altercation near the end of the story. While there was no fist-to-fist contact in the book, as there was in Twilight with Gigandet, Pattinson stated in an interview a while back that there would be a lot more fighting in The Twilight Saga: New Moon than we might expect. He was to be thrown around by a lot of people, Fanning included, in this piece of the series.
In Eclipse, too, Pattinson's character has a show-down with a fellow female vampire - Victoria, as portrayed by Rachelle Lefevre. In the book, Edward takes on, with the hand of Seth Clearwater (still un-cast), both Victoria and Riley (still un-cast).
So, will Pattinson take the MTV Movie Awards for "Best Fight" for next year's awards too? The following year's for Eclipse? What do you think? Comment below and let us know!

It's possible, but I think he has a better chance of winning with Eclipse, that fight scene is going to be epic! (or at least I hope so...)
I don't think it will from the book - i hope there is more fighting :) but definitely for Eclipse... so looking forward to Edward ripping Victoria up!
I'd be surprised (okay, not really, with the fan backing) if Edward and Jane's fight wins anything, mostly because I don't consider it a fight (at least from the book's perspective). Edward gets his butt kicked, and Jane doesn't lay a finger on him! The Eclipse fight has the potential to be even greater than the Edward/James dust-up. That one should be epic!
From New Moon the possibilities of the movie winning best fight are very small.I am really looking forward to seeing Pattinson rip up some vampire in Eclipse!
I think the fight scene in Eclipse will be better. There is no actual fighting in New Moon. There is a showdown with minds you could say. If the director stays with the books original plot, that should be one hell of a fight scene with him and Victoria.
I've been wondering how this is going to look and play out. How does Edward accomplish that and still remain in character as a gentleman? How does Rob do this and not be razzed about fighting with girls? Wait - maybe that's why he was expelled from school when he was 12! Whatever, it will be great - and so will he.
yeah of course robert (edward) is the hottest fighter in the world and we all know that. he will tottally win ever time for best fight and of course hottest male actor soooooooooooo stop thinking otherwise.
