She may portray a fast-talking socialite in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, but Anna Kendrick's real claim to fame at present is Up In The Air which premiered in Los Angeles on Monday, November 30th.
Kendrick joined co-stars George Clooney, Vera Farmiga, Jason Bateman, Danny McBride, Melanie Lynskey, and Cindy Crawford on the red carpet of the premiere.
USA Today issued a report on the event with a couple of quotes from Anna Kendrick regarding both Up In The Air and the Twilight series (particularly The Twilight Saga: Eclipse).
Kendrick said Clooney put her at ease right as they began filming. "We were standing around and some lights were getting fixed, and I feel like I'm barely breathing standing next to George and he's like, 'Do you get nervous on the first day on a movie shoot?' And I was like, 'Yes!' And he said, 'Don't worry; me, too.' I thought that was really sweet."
Kendrick, who also stars in the Twilight series, said she didn't have any news to dish on the upcoming films. "I'm just not there often enough to have secrets to spill. I have a valedictorian speech, which makes no sense because I'm like the dumbest girl in that series, and yet, I'm valedictorian. But I guess I knew girls like that, too, who were really smart, but pretended to be ditzy for boys."
The Associated Press, too, issued this video from the red carpet that has a bit of discussion with Kendrick and her co-stars.
