Greg Mottola, director of Kristen Stewart's Adventureland, has apparently gotten to see a full screening of Anna Kendrick's second upcoming release (other than The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Up In The Air), and he likes what he's seen.
Said he in a recent tweet, "Be very jealous of me. I've seen an entire cut of SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD. Edgar Wright has made a classic (again)! It's amazing."
Kendrick has had her fair share of great successes over the span of her career. Beginning with Rocket Science and Camp (oh and just a little tiny Tony nomination), she's built up an incredible reputation for herself. Her work in Twilight, of course, has been no detriment to that end, and she's being noticed by literally everyone in the business for her part in Up In The Air.
While Mottola (who didn't do a bad job on Adventureland either) didn't specifically comment on her performance, she'll probably steal the show on Scott Pilgrim as well. The film releases in 2010, is co-written and directed by Edgar White, and stars (alongside Kendrick) Michael Cera (who Mottola directed in Superbad), Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin (whoa, good to see that name again, eh?), Chris Evans, Brandon Routh, and Jason Schwartzmann.
