A nice recap of the day's TwiCon 2009 events (and interviews with Twilight fans in attendance) was done by local news channel 33 in Dallas, Texas.
Here's a part of their summary,
Throughout the weekend, fans will attend Twilight panels and snag autographs from the movie's cast members Christian Serratos, Peter Facinelli, Alex Meraz, Jackson Rathbone.
Cassidy Thackerson said, "I don't know if my Mom will let me say that but he is a sexy beast!" Patty Garcia about meeting Kellan said, "I'm so excited about that."
And hear musician Bobby Long, who was on the Twilight soundtrack, perform. Long said, "Rob sung it, which is cool; makes it even better. As a writer, it's pretty cool having him sing it."
The convention will wrap up with a Masquerade Ball. "They dress up in costume; you wear a mask, get all decked out. Huge costume party; it's like "Halloween in summer."

Finally, unfortunately, Michael Welch has fallen ill and is not going to be at TwiCon.

I gotta say the convention was phenomenal. i had a blast seeing kellan, the mitch hansen band, hear jackson play wit his band, and meeting every other twilight fan. loved all the guests that went, they were alll soooo friendly and sweet.
