A 'Twilight' costume museum you'll want to see

Photo: Amanda Bell

One of the features at Fantasy Tour (Eyecon Orlando) is John Henson's Twilight costume museum.

Henson, a costume designer himself, has many precious pieces of Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on display for free to patrons of the convention.

In this photo, Robert Pattinson's stuntman's clothing in Twilight is featured from the film.

Some items, like Nikki Reed's Rosalie shoes, come straight from the main cast's use.

A lot of the pieces are congruent originals, like an extra shirt that Kristen Stewart would have worn for her piazza scene in New Moon or an extra copy of Rachelle Lefevre's "kiss me" shirt.

Henson also identified the jacket that Stewart wore in Eclipse scenes with Taylor Lautner in the parking lot (the motorcycle sequence). That jacket is available at American Eagle here.

Below is a slideshow of some of the costumes featured at the museum, and more information is available here.

That's so cool! Though, let's not take their closets home, k?! Though I'd love to rip off Rob's...ahem

I think I have to agree with you Priscilla. Rob doesn't need any clothes...looking forward to the Volterra scene with Rob shirtless... it should be a sin to look so hot. I don't think I will be able to contain myself at the New Moon premiere.

These Eyecon conventions are a joke, I spent a lot of money to see the stars and three of them cancelled a few weeks ago but they didn't replace any of them! Eyecon just kept the money, my money!
When there have been cancellations at other non Eyecon Twilight events the promoters got replacements and we got to see other stars.
I'm going to The Official Twilight Conventions in the future for sure.

If people are getting ripped off at the Eyecons, they should contact the Better Business Bureau of the state they are in.

Regarding Robert, I'd never want to rip his shirt off (unless he wanted me to, of course, lol!)

Eyecon had the opportunity to replace their 3 guests that cancelled and they chose not to spend the money, while they kept all the fans money instead. So we know that cancellations may happen but the promoter should replace them with other guests. This is the problem with Eyecon, same thing happened when they ran Supernatural conventions: you notice they aren't doing them anymore after the fandom turned on them for this kind of stuff and for announcing guests that didn't even know they were signed up.

Hey guys and gals, it's John - the curator of The Twilight Costume Collection. Just wanted to correct the above article and mention that the "VINCE CAMUTO" shoes in the collection were not worn by Nikki Reed...but oh, how I wish ;O )

    Cheers!
