Since released, the trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, presented by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday evening, has had a lot of people talking.
Many of the quotes from the trailer are reminiscent and derivatives of longer quotes that can be found in Stephenie Meyer’s New Moon.
That said, there are a number of quotes from the book that one might hope to see in the film.
Here, I propose, are a few (er, well, a few dozen).

personally, I think they really need to include Edward's "blackest form of blasphemy" quote. It is truly the essence of Edward in one sentence.
my friends favorite line is ''how strongly are you opposed to grand theft auto?'' it way funny and i hope it gets in there. Another thing is that i hope it shows how much bella needs him once she finally gets him back. I never really got that ''i cant live without you'' feeling in twilight

If they do NOT put that in the film, I'm going to be extremely upset and disappointed. Pretty much all the quotes you suggested should be in the film, but we all know that's not going to happen.
Quote #67 is such a mouthful. However, it does sound very like Edward, who has spent waaayyyyy too much time in his hotel room (er, room) reading and listening to classical music - wait, I think I dated this guy in college. If they edited it a bit to get the essence...but whatever, Rob Pattinson could pull it off.
Point of order!! I believe that 76,77,78,&79 are all in ECLIPSE!!! At the END!! but I have most of my favs here, hope they get the other 3 lines I love!
If even have of those quotes make it in i'll be thrilled... but i'm not holding my breath... if the 1st film is anything to go by... don't get me wrong, i love the film but i felt it was lacking in the dialogue department...

Great choices! I do think New Moon will stick closer to the book than Twilight did, but I am afraid we won't get to hear all the best quotes. Most likely some of them just wouldn't play out the best on screen and even if they did they probably wouldn't have time for them all :-)

I love this book i hope the moive does it justice. What i saw of the trailer it is going to be awesome. I have way to many favorite scenes to try and narrow it down. but i really hope they put in the proposal and the last part of the book when edward and bella return to forks.
This is more visual than quote, but I think the fist bump should between Emmett and Edward during the voting scene should be in there. It shows how close Emmett and Edward are.

Love a bunch of these and like someone else said, I hope they make it into New Moon, cuz Twilight was sadly lacking in decent dialogue (we all recall ... butt crack Santa??) And,yes, I do own the DVD :) My fervent wish is that Kristen puts some 'life' into Bella this time and we don't have half the stuttering we had in Twilight cuz that was just really, really annoying.
I'm so excited to see Jacob to be bad ass. In the first movie he was innocent and sweet. In this movie he get's to rip vampires, his clothes, and Bella's heart to shreds. Of course he puts it back together that night. I'm sooooooo excited!
My favorite quote of the entire series is in Eclipse:

I don't think they will include number 64 in the movie because Edward never told Bella he loved her in Twilight the movie, so why should he say "After all the thousands times I've said I love you." Because it's not true.
Voice Over Bella while she runs into Edward:

I'm not sure that #67 would work well in the movie as a word for word quote, but I think they could certainly paraphrase that in a way to get the same point across.

There are a couple I liked that are missing...
One is in Italy after Bella slams into him. Edward thinks he is dead. He looks down at Bella and says:(p452)
"Amazing," he said, his exquisite voice full of wonder, slightly amused. "Carlisle was right."
***Bella later uses this as an "argument" with Edward whether he really believes he has no soul (p 546)*** which for once leaves Edward speechless as the book states....
I also liked Edward saying "You'd move in with a house full of vampires?"and Bella's response:"That's probably the safest place for someone like me.Besides...." (p546)
Another quote is Edward saying to Bella: "So eager for Eternal damnation."(p546)
I think the most important on they need to put in here is where Bella is like "You don't want me" and Edward is like "No" Also the whole bella and jacob not talking after his transformation that should be in there

so i forgot to say before...I know the possiblity of all these quotes of making it into the final cut is very, very, slim..but i think, if Chris wants to please all us Twi-fanatics, he really, really, really needs to put in a load of quotes from The Truth, and Vote. Those chs. holds some of my all-time favorite quotes. He needs to portray the pain it was for EDWARD to leave, he needs to show those who have not read the books, just how deeply they are connected. If not using direct quotes, he needs to paraphrase. Like the one where edward describes his life with out bella as a moonless night. THAT needs to be in there, somehow.
Finally, if they leave out Edwards compromise, (Proposal) then i will be SERIOUSLY ticked!
