Why would you want to get rid of Russell now?
Jeff sees himself as running the table, but if he takes Jordan to the final two, he'll lose.
To begin with, the two-man alliance has never worked except for Evel Dick and Danielle in Big Brother 8. Even so, Jordan isn't hated, and has no real hard feelings (yet) from the people who'll make up the jury. Jordan is complicit in Jeff's plans, but she's seen as passive.
By the way, I expect CBS to make an announcement soon about the seventh jury member, and I think it'll be an America Votes competition. With everyone else out of the house and already watching the show from home, it's really their only option.
If Jeff goes up against Kevin or Natalie, he'll lose. The rest of their alliance is already in the jury house.
Taking Michele to the round of two? Except for Ronnie, she has no enemies. She's gone out of her way to be perceived as non-threatening, and it's worked.
The Big Brother 11 jury house has no love at all for Russell.
This whole situation reminds me of Big Brother 9. In that season's round of three, Ryan had the choice of taking Sheila, a sour little former Penthouse Pet who had made enemies, or Adam, the big goofy guy who had been his ally for weeks.
He stayed loyal and eliminated the person he saw as a bigger threat, and lost. Adam had no enemies, and won Big Brother 9 with six of the seven votes.
I don't want to get all Art of War here, but you have to pick your battles. More importantly, you have to pick your enemies.
I find it hard to think of a scenario where Russell would get the necessary jury votes to win Big Brother 11. If the final two were Russell and Hitler, perhaps, but Russell's made too many enemies to win. Some Big Brother houseguests vote for the person who played the best game, Russell wouldn't even win that.
He should be everyone's favorite houseguest right now. Everyone looks good compared to him.
Not counting the loudly departed Chima, the first three jury members will all be evicted by Jeff or Jordan. If Jeff's going to win, he needs a greater evil to stand beside to draw votes.
If he goes through with voting out Russell this week, he'll be the bad guy, and he'll be up against three players who haven't evicted anyone this season.
Russell is Jeff's only hope to win.

I always believed and played with the thought that it was a higher priority to get there.
You can't win if you don't make it to the end.
This season will go down in BB history as the biggest piece of crap if Nat, Kevin or even Jordan (IMO) wins. They don't even deserve to be there, seriously. Nat is a nutswinger, Jordan has done? Kevin told 1 good lie that will get Russel the boot.
Either Jeff or Michelle are the two I would like to see. There is still time for Michelle to pull off a bold move, which I believe she would need to really tighten things up with the jury. But she would probly still lose against Jeff.
BTW, in the rules it does state that if a jury member leaves that the vote is America's. And Jeff would get that vote even if Michelle gets the opportunity to make that bold move... because he is prettier than Michelle.
He has Jordan's vote.
Jesse's ego will give Jeff his vote (best game move)
You think Michelle will get to take a juror to an island?
Me ei
That last line should have said...
Me either.
PS
Boogie and Dr. Will were another 2 man alliance that worked. Just not quite as well as Dani & I ;)
They all know that Jeff played the best game even if that meant getting rid of them. They may see it as Jordan mainly skated thru while Jeff played hard! and smart. Russell is strong and if he won HOH this week Jeff would be on the block I know it!
The issue with Jeff keeping Russell in the house is, what if Russell wins hoh and puts up Jeff. If that happens, Jeff's only chance of staying in the house is to win pov. Jeff has played this game better than anyone and deserves to win it.
Thanks for the insite on the rules E.D. I agree with you. I think you were the greatest player. I couldn't wait for BB night to see what you'd do next! You rock!
Very good points Evel and I really enjoyed your season, compared to this one it's almost not the same game or half the fun!
Seems to me that E.D. is right on. If Jeff is going to get past next week, he will either need to have Jordan win HOH or he will need to win POV. It's the same regardless of Russell staying or leaving. So it's better to keep Russell.
Jeff has all votes going against anyone left in the game. He is the only one paying the game. The other are riding coat tails.

I agree with Barb.No matter w No matter what Russell says, if he won the HOH, Jeff would go up or be back doored. So, he'd need to win HOH or the POV. It's risky. Of course, If Nat or Kevin win, they'll put up Jeff or try to back door him. They've admitted to themselves that they're no longer playing an honest game.Jeff's in a tough place. He's played the best game and he has charm, hot looks, he's sweet & sensitive to women. Not only that but the ladies watching it, are watching Jeff. He makes me want to move to Chicago to meet a nice mid-western guy.If Jeff won, could he choose to split or give Jordan a generous cash gift? So, Jordan needs to win HOH for Jeff to be totally safe. Or he'll need to win the POV If not, I think he's joining Russ:
Does Jeff know that if he goes to the final with anyone other than Jordan he is going to lose because the whole jury house is the other team!If Kevin or Natalie go with anyone on Jeffs team they will win. Now Jeff has 2 alliances against him so really I don't see him winning and I can't believe he believes anything Kevin and Natalie say. They've been true to their alliance only and they will NOT be true to their word with Jeff. That wasn't a smart move to put up Russell.
