When it was announced last month that Rob Benedict (Chuck the Prophet) would be appearing at Creation Entertainment's "Salute to Supernatural" convention,  the rumors began to spread through the interwebs that the reason he was the (at the time) lone celebrity appearing on the opening Friday night was because his band Louden Swain would be performing at their opening night concert. The publicity folks at Creation remained mum, simply stating that they were "still working on getting everyone" to attend.

Today, though, the band announced via Twitter that they were in fact confirmed and the official website would be making the announcement shortly. For many fans, this will be a one-of-a-kind experience, as they have not played any other, previous cons, nor have they toured and done gigs outside of the Los Angeles area. Fans do fly in from all parts of the world for this convention, and it will be a special treat for both them and the band themselves. After all, it will be the first time Benedict gets to showcase his "other" gig in a room full of Supernatural fans.

Louden Swain is made up of Benedict (Lead Vocals & Guitar), Michael Borja (Bass & Vocals), Billy Moran (Guitars & Vocals), and Stephen Norton (Drums & Vocals). Their newest CD, "A Brand New Hurt," is available on their website and iTunes.
