Starting next week fans of FOX' New Girl are in for a special treat: special guest star Justin Long! Long will make his debut as "Paul," a music teacher at Jess (Zooey Deschanel)'s school on whom she has had her eye for quite some time and who finally pops up for a very special holiday celebration. And now LA TV Insider Examiner has a sneak peek of him in action on set!

In "Thanksgiving," Paul is invited over to Jess' new pad for Thanksgiving dinner. Eager to impress him, Jess attempts to cook the traditional feast, including a giant bird, but naturally things go awry, and yup, she ends up burning it. But not until after she tries prepping it in the washing machine. Hopefully she'll be able to win him over with adorable charm and stellar ability to find a take-out place open on such a festive day instead of her "talents" in the kitchen...
Long will also appear in "Christmas," giving Jess an expensive gift that makes her uber-nervous and turning to Nick (Jake Johnson) for advice on what to get him in return. The spirit of the season certainly comes out when Jess remembers her childhood spent caroling around the neighborhood, though whether or not she opts to bring Paul into that part of her life may determine just how long he'll be sticking around.
New Girl airs on FOX on Tuesday nights at 9pm. "Thanksgiving" airs on November 15th 2011, and "Christmas" airs on December 13th 2011.
