The dust has barely settled for excited fans who attended Creation Entertainment's 2010 "Salute to Supernatural" convention at the LAX Marriott in Los Angeles during the last week of March, but today the convention guru entertainment company has announced the headliners for their 2011 convention. To be held about six weeks earlier than usual, "Salute to Supernatural" 2011 will take place from February 11 to 13th and star none other than the show itself's stars, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki.
With two more conventions to go for Creation and the Supernatural boys in 2010 (one in Vancouver and one in Chicago) it was surprising to see the tickets go on sale so early, but fans of the show who are currently experiencing withdrawal since the May 13 season finale are most definitely happy to have this to occupy their time during the summer "hell-atus" as they have deemed re-run season.
Tickets are available for gold packages, which cost just over $500 and include preferred seating in the ballroom, access to parties, and all autograph tickets. Other ticketing options will go on sale at a later date. However, individual autograph and photo tickets for Ackles and Padalecki (as well their "sandwich duo" photo op) are available now and are known to sell out well in advance of general admission tickets. So though you need a ticket to the convention to actually get your photos and autographs, you'll want to scoop these up now and come back for whatever package (if you choose not to go for the gold) later.

I have been to three of the Creation Entertainment Supernatural Conventions and they just keep getting better and better! The "boys" are awesome to see in person and the Creation staff and volunteers are cool to hang with. Can't wait to be in LA again: already have by (2nd) row seats!

So is Jensen going to the Chicago con? Everyone else seems to not think so.
@Keri-- According to Creation Ent, he has not yet signed on to Chicago Con 2010. That doesn't mean he won't sign on in the next few months. However, considering he just got married, odds are he may opt to not do that one to have some time with his new wife on their break from shooting. However, Jared & Misha have already signed onto that one!
And for the record guys, I certainly hope Misha signs on to LACon 2011, as well. I'll keep you posted if and when he (and anyone else!) does.
Honestly, I feel Creation put the tickets for the 2011 LA Con on sale WAY too soon. Some people, myself included, just dont have the money to pay for the tickets right now and was counting on the tickets going on sale after the Vancouver Con in August. Dont get me wrong, I love that both Jensen and Jared have signed on this soon and I really enjoyed the first con I went to this year in LA....but I think it would've been fair to wait to put the tickets on sale later so those of us who want to go are able to go. Just saying.
