Tomorrow night on an all-new Party Down on the STARZ network, acclaimed actors J.K. Simmons and Joey Lauren Adams (Showtime's United States of Tara) reprise their roles as a bickering, well-to-do industry couple in "Precious Lights Pre-School Auction."
The episode finds the couple encountering the misfit team of cater-waiters once again at a fundraiser thrown by another parent of their child's preschool. As fans will recall, Adams' character nearly had an affair with Ryan Hansen's actor-slash-model-slash catering dude Kyle, but he couldn't go through with it due to a botched teeth bleaching job that left his mouth uber-sensitive. Will their return encounter be just as awkwardly hilarious? Will they finally seal the deal this time? Will she even remember who he is? Are we having fun yet?? All of these and more will be answered tomorrow at 10pm!
Also in the episode, Ron (Ken Marino) has some trouble letting go of his leadership position and clashes with Henry (Adam Scott) at the fundraiser where parents will do anything to get their kids into an exclusive elementary school. Only in L.A., folks...
Party Down has taken its crew all around Los Angeles, for episodes revolving on parties and events that range from sweet sixteens to adult film awards, to a business investment pitch that turned out to be a scam. And that was only in the first season! Where would you like to see them turn up next?
