"So You Think You Can Dance," the Foxtrot and DC's godfather of go-go Chuck Brown found themselves intertwined Tuesday night on the final performance show of "SYTYCD's" sixth season.

Ashleigh Di Lello and Jacob Karr took the floor to "Let the Good Times Roll," a 1992 remake from Chuck's non-go-go album of standards  "The Other Side," with the late Eva Cassidy. The CD taps his jazz and blues roots from the mid-60s, when he played guitar for the likes of Jerry Butler and The Earls of Rhythm. Other standards on the album include "You Don't Know Me," "Need Your Love So Bad" and "The Shadow of Your Smile."

Cassidy, a popular vocalist from Bowie, Md., was a local favorite who amassed a large UK following after a video recording of her singing "Over the Rainbow" at Blues Alley was shown on BBC Two's "Top of the Pops 2." Cassidy was 33 when she died of melanoma in 1996.

Ashleigh and Jacob's dance, choreographed by Jean Marc Generaux, received warm reviews from the judges -- and specific praise for Ashleigh. Adam Shankman said she was "totally lovely," while Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe both used the word "fantastic" to describe her footwork. [Scroll down to watch routine.]

Rounding out "SYTYCD's" final six are Ashleigh's husband Ryan Di Lello, Russell Ferguson, Kathryn McCormick and Ellenore Scott. One of them will pocket the $250,000 prize during tonight's live two-hour season finale with scheduled appearances by Adam Lambert, who promises to behave; Mary J. Blige, fresh from her "Christmas in Washington" gig; "X Factor" champ Leona Lewis, who debuts "I See You," the theme from James Cameron's sci-fi epic "Avatar"; and Jennifer Lopez, who is rumored to be putting a holiday spin on her current single “Louboutins” featuring girls from previous "SYTYCD" seasons.
