After airing in primetime for four or five years, sitcoms rack up enough episodes to start rerunning in syndication. This gives fans a chance to catch up on episodes they missed or discover shows they missed the first time around.

30 Rock

American Dad!
- One-liner: A CIA agent presides over his animated family.

- Weekdays at noon on TBS, beginning Sept. 26
- Weeknights at 9 & 9:30 p.m. on Adult Swim
- New episodes: The show's seventh season premieres on Fox Sept. 25 at 8:30 p.m.
The Big Bang Theory
- One-liner: Two physics nerds struggle to understand love and relationships.
- When to watch:
- Weeknights at 6 & 10:30 p.m. on KPLR 11, beginning Sept. 19
- Tuesdays 7 to 10 p.m., Thursdays 8 to 10 p.m., Saturdays 5 to 7 p.m. on TBS, beginning Sept. 20
- New episodes: The show's fifth season kicks off Thursday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. on KMOV CBS 4.
Futurama
- One-liner: Animated employees run a delivery company in the 31st century.
- When to watch:
- Sunday nights at 1 and 1:30 a.m. on ABC 30
- Weeknights at 12 and 12:30 a.m. on WGN America
- New episodes: The show just concluded its sixth season on Comedy Central. A seventh season is in the works for 2012.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
- One-liner: Scheming, lazy, foul-mouthed friends own a dive bar but rarely do any work.
- When to watch:
- Weeknights at 12:30 & 2:30 a.m. on My 46, beginning Sept. 19
- Mondays 8 to 10 p.m. on Comedy Central
- Weeknights at 11 & 11:30 p.m. on WGN America, starts Sept. 19
- New episodes: A seventh season premieres on FX Sept. 15 at 9 p.m.
'Til Death
- One-liner: Brad Garrett is one half of a long-married couple who live next door to newlyweds.
- When to watch:
- Weeknights at midnight & 1:30 a.m. on My 46
- Weeknights at 2 & 2:30 a.m. on WGN America, beginning Sept. 12
- Weeknights at 12 & 12:30 a.m. on Spike TV, beginning Oct. 3
