Monday night, viewers watched a rather odd interaction when Ben Flajnik sent Samantha Levey packing on ABC's The Bachelor 2012 (airing on channel 15 in Scottsdale). Fans never got to know much about her on the show, but they know there is more to the story than just her awkward exit conversation with Ben. Luckily gossip guru Reality Steve always has the goods on this show and he has spoiled a good amount of dish on Samantha both before and after her exit. Wednesday afternoon Steve tweeted some fantastic stuff on Samantha, and fans will get a kick out of this.
First Reality Steve teased, “Samantha was on a stupid game show recently where she admits she plans on having '7 plastic surgeries' in her life. Wonderful.” He went on to give the link, and this was a hilarious find. Though one could safely bet that almost nobody has ever heard of this show, apparently Jerry Springer has a show called Baggage that airs on GSN. In fact, the show has three-plus full seasons of juicy, bad game show episodes to watch, and Samantha Levey was featured on Season 3, Episode 51. For the uninitiated, which would mean about 99.9% of the public, Baggage is a dating show with a unique twist. The wannabe dates have to 'fess up to some of their baggage before they get chosen.
On a beauty queen-themed episode, Samantha Levey (Miss Pacific Palisades 2012) competed against two other ladies for the chance to date the seemingly nerdy guy who thinks he's a stud. You can watch the episode at GSN's site, though spoiler alert, Samantha doesn't get the guy in the end. Apparently the fact that Levey plans to get seven different plastic surgeries in the future was just a bit too much baggage for this guy. As a really classy exit line, she cupped her chest and said, “You're missing out. These are real and were gonna stay real.”
People may not be overly excited about some of the ladies still around on The Bachelor 2012, but it looks like Ben isn't missing out by sending home Samantha Levey early. Maybe Samantha will have better luck when she competes for the title of Miss California 2012 in June. She may want to work on coming up with some different soundbites than “I will destroy your clothes if you don't give me attention” and “I'm planning on having 7 different plastic surgeries” if she wants to do well, however.
For those who love tragically awful dating game shows, you can watch Baggage at various times throughout the week on GSN, channel 145 on Cox in the Scottsdale area. ABC's The Bachelor 2012 of course airs Monday nights on channel 15 at 7 p.m.
