Mad Men won't return until March to Channel 43 in Tempe, but fans are being teased even more about what is to come when the series does return for its fifth season. What will happen during season five of the series? The man behind the series, Matthew Weiner, gave fans some new information about what is to come on Mad Men. When the series returns, it will be a year following the events in the season four finale. He said the following, according to The Hollywood Reporter:
“The year doesn’t really mean anything. It doesn’t. I’m not doing a history lesson. The thing that I’m excited about is I wanted to give people a big helping. I wanted a two-hour premiere. It’s a Mad Men movie -- I don’t think anyone’s going to think it’s two episodes spliced together. There is a story that starts in the middle of it [but otherwise] it’s one story. The beginning and the ending are related to each other.”
With the last episode airing back in October 2010, this series has been off the air a long time. Will fans return to the series quickly once it premieres on March 25? Fans do still talk about the series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
