Tila Tequila has stayed in the headlines over the past week or so, and much of the reason for that has been due to the MTV reality star's relationship with late Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson. However, if we are to believe some evidence that has come out over the past few days, is it possible that Tila and Casey were not as close as we were led to believe?
The first sign off something odd with Tila and Casey occurred last week, when Nicky Hilton and Bijou Phillips got into it with Tila over the care of Casey's dogs. If Tila was that close to Casey, then wouldn't it be understood that she would care for the animals? It's possible, as it also is possible that Hilton and Phillips were merely concerned that Tila would be too torn-up emotionally to deal with any more animals.
After that, we also had the strange circumstances surrounding Tila's relationship with the Johnson family. She did not head east for the memorial services, and there are some suggestions that she was not even invited.
However, the primary piece of evidence for a "fake relationship" between Tila and Casey comes courtesy of a new report by TMZ. Sources close to Johnson recently told the website that they had received calls from Casey saying that the "engagement" was "all for show." In addition, Tila was reportedly present with Casey when she made one of the calls.
Of course, it's possible that the relationship could have been very private personal or that there are some scorned friends spreading bad rumors. Do you think Tila and Casey were really that close? Let me know your thoughts with a comment below.

Nothing would surprise me, however I think it was a relationship to tick off Casey's family....not a deep meaningful love affair.
Someone would have to be on drugs or mentally ill to get engaged to Tila Tequila.
