Three unaired episodes of 'Cougar Town' will keep show on the air...for now

ABC's comedy "Cougar Town" has temporarily halted production while star Courteney Cox deals with "a private family matter."

But ABC says that three unaired episodes will keep the show on the air with new episodes until early January. New episodes of "Cougar Town" are scheduled to air on November 25th and December 9th, with a third episode (featuring guest star Lisa Kudrow) airing on January 6th, 2010.

Eleven episodes of the 22-episode season order have been completed, and the network has reportedly not decided what it will do if Cox is unable to return for an extended period of time.
