It looks like Taylor Kinney is looking to expand his horizons beyond just being known for playing Mason Lockwood on "The Vampire Diaries" and for being Lady Gaga's current boyfriend.
According to TVLine, the actor (who first bonded with the singer during her "You and I" musice video) has signed to for an upcoming episode of "Castle" to play the boyfriend of a character playing be Sarah Jane Morris. (You can find out more about what she is doing for the show over at this link.)
Kinney's episode has no official air date just yet, but you can expect it to be at some point in the late winter or potentially airing spring. As for whether or not we will see the actor on "TVD" again, it seems doubtful considering that Mason has already shown up once in ghost form.
