Reality TV stars are certainly on the move and in the spotlight. Carrie Underwood from “American Idol” has been chosen to sing the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl in Miami, and this year’s “Dancing With the Stars” champion, Donny Osmond just debuted his new national radio talk show. Reality TV certainly continues to provide a major springboard in the entertainment world.

Country music superstar and winner of season four of "American Idol," Carrie Underwood is the latest star to join Queen Latifah, who will perform “America the Beautiful,” and The Who, the huge halftime headliner at the big game. On an interesting note, Carrie Underwood is the third “American Idol” to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl in three years. Jordin Sparks sang it in 2008, followed by Jennifer Hudson in 2009. Super Bowl XLIV will air on CBS on February 7th when the Indianapolis Colts face off against the New Orleans Saints.

Another reality TV star on the move is Donny Osmond. Fresh off his win on “Dancing With the Stars,” Osmond launched a new radio show called “The Donny Osmond Radio Show.” It’s geared towards his biggest fans, women. The new lifestyle-driven show will include, “Some great music and some fun stories, little anecdotes and a very positive outlook in the five hours I'll be programming," Osmond said. The music featured will be of the adult contemporary and adult classic variety. Osmond’s radio show debuted on January 18th on about 60 radio stations across the country.

Donny Osmond has experienced a rebirth of late. “Dancing With the Stars” brought him visibility he hasn’t seen in years. Coupled with his “Donny and Marie Show” in Las Vegas and an upcoming new album, his star is once again shining brightly. Donny Osmond recently told The Associated Press, “It’s been up and down for the last 47 years. Up’s better, let me tell you.” His huge worldwide fan base couldn’t agree more. Donny.com is more popular than ever with an astonishing 120 million+ hits annually.

BREAKING NEWS about "Dancing With the Stars": ABC has announced that co-host Samantha Harris will not return for season 10. The show's executive producer, Conrad Green has already begun a search for a replacement for Harris. Entertainment insiders are speculating that Paula Abdul may step in.
