Many of Filipino singer Charice's diehard fans are still buzzing about the news that she is set to appear in a good many season two episode of "Glee" as Rachel Berry's rival -- a foreign exchange student at McKinley High with a big voice.
In an interview posted Tuesday on "Entertainment Tonight", the singer talks more about another TV program that has helped her over the years -- "The Oprah Winfrey Show":
"[Oprah] is like my fairy godmother ... She made all my dreams come true. And for the past three years it's just pretty amazing what she did for me… She's really nice, she's really funny, she's really motherly, she's really sweet. Like, before I perform she's telling me all these good luck messages."
Charice recently performed on the same episode of "Oprah" that featured fellow singing sensation Justin Bieber.
The only strange part of this interview is that it apparently was filmed before the "Glee" cast announcement -- in the clip, she refers to the idea as a "rumor".

That is great to hear that Charice will be on Glee. Wow I did not realize that this girl has gone so far in her career. She's got an amazing voice.

Saw Charice in a David Foster & Friends concert in Gibson Amp/LA and boy this gurl just blew everyone away, S.O.! I believe with her addition to Glee, she will be huge and the show will be bigger as it is! She's got global appeal and charisma that some artist don't have.
Not a big fun of Glee but since Charice will be on it....I'll start watching Glee just because of her...Wait till you see this girl not only she can sing but she can also act. Wow...speechless I cannot wait till Glee comes back on again....woo hoo....
Glee series is a truly popular household tv series nowadays, not only in the US but worldwide. This will really help Charice spreading her own music and to be a household name too. Although Charice is becoming popular each day, but we have to accept that it´s not popular enough to compare her selling power to Celine Dion, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Lady GAGA and Usher. And that is the real goal of David Foster for Charice to be like more of these talented artists. And she´s getting there little by little with the help of Glee.

Charice entering Glee is a good sign for all Asian. Asian should support her, otherwise her failure reflects asian artists in general. She beats the barrels where Hollywood should be more packed up with girls who have the proper heights, with beautiful faces like Taylor Swift even they can´t sing, body like Britney Spears, connections and have famous father like Miley Cyrus and lots of slutty girls who don´t have any talents at all. She truly represents the ordinary young asian girls who are wishing for their dreams become true. This talented girl beats all the odds. She just proves to everybody that you don´t need to possess all those qualities to be succesfull. Just be natural, be yourself, work hard, love and be proud whatever talent you have.

Like some others, I too don't watch Glee. But, I will now since she's gonna be a guest cast for many episodes. Love her rendition of "You raised me up" by Gosh, ever since I heard her sing that I've been a fan.

i love charice i met her in person at david foster and friends in vancouver she is so amazing live goosebumps all over me from the tip of my toes to my hears very accommodating on meet and greet too very friendly i can't wait to see her on glee first time i would watch glee
