Oscars 2010: was Farrah Fawcett snubbed during the 'In Memoriam' segment?

During the 2010 Oscars, we saw a touching tribute to many actors who passed away in the past year. The problem? Farrah Fawcett was somehow left off the list. Granted, the "In Memoriam" segment was largely about people who passed away in the world of film -- but Farrah actually did quite a few movie roles. If they were to include Michael Jackson for his work, then it seems only appropriate that the "Charlie's Angels" star should have also been recognized.

There are also many out there clamoring for Bea Arthur to have been on the list. Why weren't these two great women included? It could have been an issue of time -- the Oscars are always trying to keep the show under three hours (even though it never happens). On the other hand, shouldn't they be willing to put in some more time to recognize people such as Farrah?

What do you think: was Farrah snubbed during the Academy Awards? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more coverage.

Yeah seriously, they don't include them but waste time with Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. The only contribution Jackson had for film I think was trying to get Thriller nominated for best short film.

I noticed it immediately. I figured since they died within a day apart if that, she would be right after him...but NO Farrah.
She also performed in the Burning Bed and she was awesome.Someone that had the most posters sold in a ONE PIECE bathing suit...not a bikini...plus worked hard at her craft should be mentioned. How true on all the wasted time...Tom Hanks certainly didn't waste time announcing the Best Picture... I am sure he did it to make sure they had time to accept the award.
