Miley Cyrus takes break from 'Hannah Montana,' meets beardless Joaquin Phoenix

Miley Cyrus, Joaquin Phoenix, and Liv Tyler all joined forces to promote To Write Love on Her Arms--an organization designed to support suicide prevention. The video is below, and it contains some rather interesting behavior.

First of all, the first thing you'll probably notice is that Joaquin is no longer sporting the massive beard that gained him so much infamy thanks to his aspiring rap career (couple with that bizarre appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman" a few months ago). In addition, he then says that he has not heard of Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, or Facebook. Has Joaquin been living under a rock, or is this just another publicity ploy designed to get people to support his "rap career."

For Miley Cyrus, meanwhile, the charity video is just a small detour from what she is really working on: the final season of "Hannah Montana," which is scheduled to air on the Disney Channel beginning later this year.

Do you really believe that Joaquin has never heard of Miley Cyrus? Let me know your thoughts below! Check out the video below and don't forget to visit To Write Love on Her Arms by clicking here.
