In comparison to this past week's episode of "Kate Plus 8," we had just about everything. Pirates! Drama! Complaining! More than anything, we had the goofy adventures of a family in Bald Head Island who really didn't know what they were doing most of the time.
Note #1: Silly Fights
We begin this episode with a situation that makes no sense at all -- twins Mady and Cara had the opportunity to stay in their very own apartment next to Kate's main house on Bald Head Island with their own bedroom and bathroom. However, they didn't want it for one reason -- they wanted their own beds. Do we already have a diva situation on our hands?
Note #2: the turtle crisis
Whoever thought it would be a good idea to put the entire Gosselin family in a situation where everyone had to be quiet, then they obviously have never seen this show. The gang tried at first to check out some turtles, and some screaming. Eventually the kids calmed down, which enabled everyone to relax.
Note: #3: the short length
After man hour-long specials for "Kate Plus 8," this episode really just felt cut off in the middle. Outside of Kate's attempt to make a kite, this episode really didn't have the drama of last year's visit to the island. Where were the clashes with the paparazzi, or the chocolate pudding fights?
