Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber has something in common with Rachael Ray, Joey Chestnut, and the winner of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. What is it? All of them will be facing off against Shaquille O'Neal in the new season of ABC's "Shaq Vs."(premiering August 3).
For those who haven't seen the show before, the premise is rather simple -- every episode, Shaq faces off against different people for various challenges. While some of the activities are generally sports-related, this time the NBA star (who is getting closer to retirement) is also taking on some non-athletic endeavors -- such as engaging in a sing-off with Bieber.
Shaq had this to say about the show in a statement (via USA Today):
"I'm out to prove that I can compete beyond athletics. I've spent all year sharpening my skills ... There's no challenge bigger than me."
