Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin reportedly "has never taken a step of dancing in her life," but still apparently expects to win "Dancing With the Stars."
What does partner Tony Dovalani think of her chances? In an interview with Us Magazine, Tony (who has partnered in the past with such people as former WWE star Stacy Keibler) said that the reality TV mom is "definitely not the best dancer." However, he was also quick to profess that she is willing to learn:
"She's very hard-working. She's willing to try everything. So, for me, it's like I have an empty canvas that I can create a masterpiece. It's a great opportunity to show America what I'm capable of - which is teaching somebody who has never danced before."
So for Tony, Kate is definitely a challenge. The two will certainly have plenty of competition when "Dancing" begins its new season on March 22 -- while she may be one of the more recognizable names on the show, people like figure skater Evan Lysacek and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger may have more natural dance talent thanks to their experience in similar fields.
A construction company was seen at Kate's Pennsylvania home on Thursday working to install a dance floor in her basement -- that way she can practice while also working to care for her children.

I think that Kate has a chance to win due to her drive and her coach/partner. However, this is beside the point, which is, she is not the sweet, caring mom that some paint her to be. Also, she is not poor, as I keep saying. How many struggling moms can afford to have a construction company come to their home to build a dance floor? She has not since the beginning days of Jon and Kate been struggling for anything. She and their kids are living a very expensive lifestyle. Those who say that she is trying so hard to support her family and pay the mortgage (I personally doubt there is any mortgage -- they probably bought the house outright with all the money). Anyway, mortgage or not, she has not been lacking for anything, except giving her children the time and attention that they truly deserve. She is constantly on the go trying to look like a sexy movie star. It will sicken me if she does win the competition, as this will only put another narcissistic feather in her cap. Boycott!!

I plan to vote for my favorite dancer and/or dancers (maybe even Kate G.) from all my phones and computers just to cancel out your non vote NARCISSISTIC attitude.
Come on both of you - GET A LIFE!!! Kate a dancer - did you ever see her on the show and how she was a "little helpless girl"!!! You never saw her on a bike with the kids or doing anything gracfully. She is doing all of this for "SHOW"......getting her face out there again with the stupid lookign $7000 hairdo!!!

hope she is the first to go. she is so fake. faker hair, fake tan. love that stupid tatoo on her ankle. and she claims she is doing the show for her children. she just wants/needs the money.i can see her kids on dr.drew when they are teenagers suffering from drugs, alcohol or sheer embarassment having those 2 parents

Will not be watching this year's show; they have stooped to a new low by including this woman in the ranks of the well-deserved and famous people on the roster. To have included her just shows you how much she pays her PR people to promote her as the all-suffering mother of eight.
Please, this woman is such a fake it is sickening. Anyone with any lick of common sense would know that her place is at home with her children. Sure she has to make a living to support them by updating her nursing credentials and then living within that income. PERIOD. There is no excuse for anything else.
But then again maybe her kids don't want her around!!!!We won't know that until their time comes to be on talk shows and write their own books.

This woman has no chance against the true stars on this year's list and should never have been considered. A star she is not. Maybe they will change the name of the show to reflect where it has headed to date.

kate has changed herself sooo much recently ... she got her hair cut all fancy and expensive, travels almost 24/7, and she trys so hard 2 be a star when its pretty obivious she should just stay home and be a mom to her 8 wonderful kids. i suggest she goes home and spends time with her kids. which we all know isent gonna happen.
