Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin will have her final performance this week on "Dancing with the Stars," and the reality TV mom has started to begin extensive training for the acrobatic routine.
According to Radar Online, the reality TV mom was spotted leaving rehearsal Friday looking "relaxed," and she even stopped to take some pictures with her fans as she did some shopping with bodyguard Steve Neild. Kate has remained in California for much of the week thus far, as she fulfilled a guest-hosting gig on "Entertainment Tonight" and she is now practicing for her final moment in the spotlight.
Following "Dancing," Kate will quickly begin promoting her new series of "Kate Plus 8" specials, which premiere June 6 on TLC.

Kate has not won me over. She will never win me over until she starts acting like Joan Crawford in "Mommy Dearest," and starts to spend quality time with her children. Going places with them on camera and posing for photos is NOT quality time. No one can be truly themselves when constantly followed by cameras. It also sounds as though Kate does not know how to deal with her children when she is with them -- that is because she does not spend enough time with them to get to know each of them. It's all a big fantasy for her -- none of the wealth and vacations is going to make one bit of difference when the kids are older and reflect on their disfunctional childhood.
Correction: I mean STOPS acting like Joan Crawford!
I predict that someday, maybe 10 or 20 years from now, a movie will be made about Kate and her family based on the chldrens' memoirs, about how awful it was growing up as Kate's child. I hope that Kate changes. I truly do -- before it's too late.
Send Kate and her 8 moneymakers to the Barnum and Bailey Circus.
Kate could get up on the flying trapeze and hopefully fall off. That would be a better place for her and her 8 champion horses.
"But she's doing this for her kids"! What a joke! Who's with the kids all week while she's off prancing in Ca and shopping with the bf bodyguard?
Will she ever go away? I am sick of her, sick of how she exploits her children then acts soooo mushy when she is away from them but when she is with them she is a short tempered witch.
I wish she would go away forever and the media would start to ignore her, then no television would want her.
And the media clown continues her circus act.
This woman is showing her true colors which were always there in little snippets during the filming of their show. She is all about fame and fortune not her children; who were the means for her lifelong need for attention.
Just wish she would let someone who really cares about the children raise them instead of well-paid nannies.
These are two people who never should have had children but now that they do; someone needs to hold them accountable for their raising or lack thereof of all eight of them; and horrors of horrors- they are both young enough to have more.
Agree with poster, wait a few years and the children will be telling the truth about being their children; if mom doesn't stop that too.
