Nuttin’ But Stringz, the dynamic violin-playing duo who appeared on Dancing With the Stars this week, had to cancel a live appearance on France’s version of America’s Got Talent because of the Iceland volcano. According to their agent, Tourie and Damien Escobar were “bummed” because they were flying high after their amazing performance on Dancing With the Stars and wanted to keep the momentum going by playing live on Qui Sera Le Meilleur Ce Soir. However, it simply wasn’t in the cards for the talented brothers.

After their passionate performance on Dancing With the Stars, Damien and Tourie flew from LAX to JFK airport in New York. From there, they were to fly to Paris for their live Saturday night appearance. Nuttin' But Stringz and their manager spent the entire day stranded at JFK. At one point, they found a private jet service to fly them to France, but hopes were dashed again when the pilot declared that no flights were being allowed into Charles de Gaulle airport due to volcanic ash. The end result was that Damien stayed in New York City where he resides, while Tourie returned to his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Their manager explained that even if they were able to fly out later today, Nuttin' But Stringz wouldn’t arrive in time for the live TV show.

However, all is not lost. Executives from the television show have promised to schedule Nuttin’ But Stringz into another episode in the coming weeks. Plus, Damien and Tourie Escobar have a scheduled appearance at a fundraising gala for the American Heart Association to look forward to on April 23rd. In addition, they'll appear on MTV's Unplugged on the same date. Tourie Escobar tried to remain upbeat and said, “God didn’t want us to be there.”
