Tila Tequila has transformed herself from an internet star to a media mogul in the span of a few short years. She has hosted reality shows, written a number of songs, and now owns her own record company.
Tila talks below about her upcoming reality show based on her everyday life. Since she called from the recording studio, we started by discussing music.

Matt: So are working on a new song?
Tila: Yeah, it's so funny because I was working on a new song called 'Pop Rox' supposed to be released on Valentine's Day, but that -- I decided to release [that] for free for all of my fans, because a lot of my fans have been very supportive... you know I've been going through a lot. So that's free, and the month after that I was supposed to release a song [called] 'I Love My DJ' but instead -- after this song that Raz-B [formerly of B2K, who is now on Tila's record label] and I wrote yesterday which we're back to write [today]-- we let the fans preview it and listen to it. They went bonkers off it! So what I decided to do instead is push back my DJ song and release the 'Raz-B featuring Tila' song instead. Very hot and also gives Raz his comeback which is great before his album.
Matt: How awesome is it for you right now: you have this Twitter account and all this direct access to your fans. How does it feel to be able to communicate all of the time?
Tila: I think it's great because a lot of celebrities don't do that. I think that's why I have this great fanbase, and I also think that's why I'm so controversial, because I'm so personable with them. So it allows them a direct door into my personal life, and that's why they just love Tila Tequila! I mean, the media and bloggers may say otherwise, but in reality I have a lot of fans because I'm the only celebrity that actually takes time out to call them and talk to them. I don't think a lot of celebrities do that.
Matt: I appreciate how you face anything, good or bad. I know when I was on 'Beauty and the Geek,' I would get freaked out just when somebody would talk about my teeth on a message board.
Tila: People say the most malicious things. They just say the most scathing things that would make other people just want to commit suicide, but luckily for me -- yeah, sometimes things get hard -- but yo, you gotta check yourself and remember that these are other random people who hate their lives. They're not happy with themselves. I would never go out and say something bad about other people because I'm secure about myself. When somebody says something bad about you, they feel bad about themselves in some way...but you stand up for yourself! That's the sexy part, and a lot of fans see that in me. I'm always the girl that the fans are like 'she doesn't really give a f about anybody.' She just does her thing.
Matt: Is music a way for you to kind of relax and get away from everything else in the world?
Tila: Music is just a really fun hobby that I do, because I'm actually really good about writing songs and producing. People don't realize this, but I am an excellent writer for artists. I even write for Raz and he's an amazing artist anyway. But I wrote for him as well...I wrote a song where Randy Jackson wanted to pick up for Nicole Scherzinger [of the Pussycat Dolls] for her solo album. I just decided to keep that for myself. It's just a hobby of mine. I like to do it because it's fun, but my main thing is just being a mogul.
Matt: Is there anything you'd like to do that you haven't already accomplished? In between music and TV you have an empire.
Tila: Yes, I do! I just did an interview -- I am so honored -- this interview was with a magazine, CEOs Under 30. It's just in general they interview CEOs in general and moguls. But my specific one was CEOs under 30 and female and it's me! I think what I'm doing right now is really cool because this is what I've always dreamed of and it's happening -- and it's happening faster and faster every day. Every single day I wake up and it's like...more things keep falling in my lap! But it takes a lot of work. That's why you don't see me going out -- a lot of celebrities you see them 'oh, blah blah blah, at the club'...you never see me out at the club. I'm always working, and I'm online all the time trying to reach out to my fans.
Matt: Is it hard for you to not go out, or do you enjoy doing things the way you do?
Tila: What makes me happy is knowing that I'm building this empire that is getting bigger and bigger and that more and more artists are coming to me and wanting to be signed; knowing that 'wow I'm a female --no, I'm a young hot female' -- [even though I am] considered one of like Hollywood socialites. They put me in the same category as Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, except the fact that I'm actually the president of a management company, a management firm. I have my own record label...have artists I look out for...I feel like, 'wow these kids.' We're the same age, but they look at me with much respect. I'm like their manager... and it's really, really cool.
Matt: Well, in terms of some of the other stuff you're currently doing, you also have plans for a new TV show. Why don't you tell us a little about that?
Tila: Yeah, right now we're in negotiations. It's going to be a lot of fun. It's not a cheesy reality show about dating -- it's just going to be a documentary of my life being a single mom, pregnant, and adopting children, while trying to build my empire. It's going to have many up and down moments. It's going to be very real, very raw, it's not staged whatsoever. If I'm having a meeting and I'm freakin' eight months pregnant and I don't want to leave...well then we're going to film at my house instead of staging it and going to an office somewhere. It's going to be very raw. If I wake up one day with rollers in my hair, zits on my face, mad and just crazy pregnant, then we're going to film that. It's going to be very raw.
Matt: That's awesome.
Tila: Then -- at the same time -- it's going to be very inspiring for other women -- either pregnant or not -- that they can do this too.
Matt: By the way, congratulations on the pregnancy!
Tila: Thank you -- thank you so very much. It's so crazy! I've never, ever in my life experienced so much controversy around my pregnancy. There's so many celebrities who have babies and [people are like] 'congratulations', but for me somehow, everything around me becomes controversial. I don't know why. It's like, 'shouldn't you all just be happy for me, and leave me and my baby alone?' There's just a huge controversy around my pregnancy! People are like 'is she really pregnant? who's the baby daddy? I want to know!' And I'm just like, 'give me a break.'
Matt: I don't get it.
Tila: It's so invasive. They see the sonagram, and they want more -- 'take a picture of your belly then! We want to see this!' You know what? I don't know what it is. Get over it and leave my baby alone.
Matt: People just always want more.
Tila: For instance, when Kourtney Kardashian and Kendra [Wilkinson] had their babies. And Ashlee [Simpson-Wentz] and Pete [Wentz]. They were like 'congratulations', but with me it's like this whole other story... I think it's just like I'm a controversial woman and they can't imagine me being a mother, and they're wrong because I'm the best mother ever.
Matt: It's going to awesome seeing all of this on your show.
Tila: While I'm shooting, I'm pregnant. I'm not exploiting my children. Once the child is out, I'm not shooting the child. I'm not exploiting the baby whatsoever. I'm not going to sell photos of my baby. I'm not going to have none of that.
Matt: In terms of other TV, what would you do if Donald Trump called you up and asked you to do 'Celebrity Apprentice?' Would you jump on board?
Tila: I would say 'before I go on there, Donald, I need to give you some advice, because I respect you and you're a huge mogul, and I aspire to be just like you. But I don't want to be under you.'
Matt: I don't know how he'd feel about that... so what network will the new show be on?
Tila: Oh, I can't say beyond that, but it's already confirmed.
Matt: And you're heading to Australia next week. Looking forward to it?
Tila: Yeah, absolutely...it's me, and it's for my fans, and I'm ready to perform.
Matt: Thank you so much for talking to me today, Tila.

This was a horrible interview. What ever happened to ballsy reporting where you ask HARD questions not just questions that I could find the answer to by reading this tramps twitter page? It makes this interview POINTLESS and USELESS. You should be fired for sucking as a reporter. Real reporters ask TOUGH questions and try to get, idk ANSWERS to what everyone wants to know. The only person that should be interviewing this chick is the doctor at the psychiatric institution. She is delusional and lies compulsively and needs help.
The funniest part of this whole article (sic "interview"), Matt - is that you might actually believe those answers Tila gave you! The girl is articulate, I'll give her that - but 90% of her life is lived within her own mind - in her dreamscape - as expectant materializations to be. There's nothing wrong with it, should it occur - but as of yet, about 10% can be considered emerged reality.
The reason no one believes she's pregnant (the writer should have done some research) is that she was on cam with a tampon Nov. 20th, said she WASN'T pregnant in December and left Casey alone because she was getting IVF, posted a stolen Google image of a pregnancy test, said she was GETTING pregnant with her brother's baby (whom she now says she doesn't talk to), THEN her and Casey's baby and Casey picked the father, THEN said he was a war hero, THEN the Game, THEN some other twitter guy, THEN claimed everyone was claiming it, THEN showed an ultrasound of 6-7 weeks, THEN 2 weeks later said she was 13 weeks (15 weeks now, conception October 31, which makes her tampon hanging out not only gross but having a period at a time she was supposed to be pregnant) THEN said she isn't showing, THEN 12 hours later posted her baby bump and baby daddy purplerod.
Phew, long run on to get out one of her lies...
That's just THIS "pregnancy" since she's apparently been pregnant 4 other times.
I don't know what is funnier -- Tila's answers or the reporter's questions. What journalist, even a feature writer reporting a puff piece on a quasi-celebrity, asks things like: "How awesome is it for you right now: you have this Twitter account and all this direct access to your fans"?

This is an outrage. I can't believe you, Matt, did this interview. I agree with the poster who said it sounds like she paid you for the interview. People who dislike Til Tequila don't hate themselves..They dislike everything about her.
