Did Susan Boyle leave 'America's Got Talent' prior to performing?

With less than an hour from the start of the live "America's Got Talent" results show, it's looking like Susan Boyle's planned performance of a Lou Reed classic will not see the light of day. Why is that? Reed decided not to sign off on the performance.

According to a report from TMZ, the Scottish singing sensation was set to perform "Perfect Day" during the live broadcast Thursday night, which was apparently the only song she prepared for the performance. When Reed declined to let Boyle sing it (supposedly he's not much of a fan), she broke down in tears and reportedly headed for the airport back to London.

Even with all of this in mind, there's still a sinking suspicion that we could see Boyle on the show Wednesday night. TV producers often find a way to make things work, even if it means doing whatever they can to appear their stars. It's possible they made another pitch to Lou, or that they convinced Susan to sing something else.

Will you be sad if Susan doesn't perform on the show Wednesday night?
