For those of you who thought that Bret Michaels just wouldn't be able to get it together in time for "The Celebrity Apprentice" live finale, the rocker is just about ready to prove you wrong.
According to People Magazine, Bret is now in transit to New York City for the live finale. His plane made a brief pit stop in Nashville after some complaints of back and leg pain, but he is now set to land in the Big Apple just in time to show up at the live boardroom.
It is down to the final two Sunday night, as Bret will ultimately face off against Holly Robinson Peete for the grand prize of $250,000 and the ultimate title. Thanks in part to an amazing recovery from a brain hemorrhage (that and an amazing run on the show that includes a hilarious "rock star workout"), he is considered the heavy favorite to win it all.

I think Bret Michaels should not make this appearance, as his health is too fragile at this time. It is pressure to appear on any stage, and he must watch that health which has shown itself to be in serious decline. It can improve with the proper rest and medications and surgery, but he is not in a position to risk anything, just to get his name as the winner of a competition and to earn 250,000 for a charity.
I don't know if he will win, but he should. Good for him for being so determined.
