CBS put their full fall schedule out on Wednesday morning, and there certainly a few shockers on it. We already knew about the cancellations of "Ghost Whisperer" and "Cold Case" -- however, who would have thought so many shows would be changing times?
The most significant move is for "Survivor: Nicaragua," which will now air on Wednesday. "Survivor" has been a force on Thursday nights for pretty much a decade, and this move either suggests that the network wants to dominate Wednesdays now or that they're starting to think they can find a better anchor.
Apparently, they feel that anchor will be "The Big Bang Theory." The hit comedy is now in the old "Survivor" slot on Thursday, which seems especially strange since you now have competition from NBC's comedy lineup (even though "Community" doesn't have the same ratings).
The network has also moved two entries of the "CSI" franchise -- "Miami" and "New York" -- to Sundays and Friday, respectively. Check out the full schedule below courtesy of Entertainment Weekly:

Thank the almighty that Old Christine is gone hopefully to never resurface in any form. Sat night is now completly Netflix night as we won't bother hoping for a rerun of Cold Case or something else half decent. The reality shows all suck as far as I'm concerned although I occasionally watch Survivor, once in a while the great race but Undercover boss could go with Old Christine. Depending on the new Hawaii 5-oh and Blue Bloods I will miss Numbers and actually Miami Medical has been pretty good. At least the powers that be haven't messed up Tues. nite yet. So one great night, 3 so so, 1 ok and two that suck isn't bad. Wish I had other channel choices! Thank someone for streaming video and netflix.
OK CBS, What's the deal?? The only thing worth watching on Fri is Ghost Whisperer, Medium and Numbers. Moving CSI NY to Fri is a "death wish" for that show, Keep it on Wednesday, same for CSI Miami, keep it on Monday.. I Bet by October, those shows will be back in their old spots. As for Saturday nigt, Greg is right, NetFlix it is.. Can't CBS leave well enough alone? PS Miami Medical is a good show, I hope another station picks it up. Same for Cold Case.

this is crazy cancelling ghost whisperer and cold case is the stupiest thing CBS has done it wouldnt hurt my feelings if they take off survior now that would be a smart move because that show is so dumb bring jennifer and the ghosts back who cares about jeff probasts dumb old show it sucks!!!!!!!!

Numbers is one of the best shows we HAD. Cold Case and Ghost Whisperer are also very good and Miami Medical is also a very good show. I personally cannot stand sit-coms and reality TV is just plain stupid. The only one I rarely watch is Great Race and it is just OK. Other than NCIS and Criminal Minds I will be finding another network. I have always been an avid CBS watcher, but I think is the final blow. Somewhere on Direct TV there has to be something better to watch than the CBS fall line-up.
I agree - Cold Case was one really good show and so was Without A Trace. Maybe because Jerry Bruckheimer is not a flaming liberal they are taking his shows off? I wonder. His shows are without political statements in them. Notice how Law And Order started getting political and they lost viewers. CBS and NBC are in the dumper now and they will only get lower. Monk where are you.
Northern Nicaragua has one the most diverse ecosystems almost anywhere in the world. From our better than Hawaii-like Pacific Ocean setting see Playa Roca Beach Hotel
to active and non active volcano’s you can actually ski down to waterfalls and lakes and rain forests, coffee and cigar plantations, etc. Isla de Juan Venado, a national wildlife reserve, is only a ten minute beach walk from the ocean front of the Playa Roca Beach Hotel, which is a surfers paradise, and has everything from crocodiles to herons (major bird sanctuary) and nesting sea turtles.
Survivor picked the most beautiful country I could imagine. The Atlantic side is so different than the Pacific coast side that everything in between is a kalidiscope of amazement. The people are friendly and the cost of travel and accommodations are only pennies on the dollar for anything remotely similar.
The colonial capital of Leon is only a $.50 bus ride and 20 minutes away on a newly built US highway. Tourism is at its infancy
I am a HUGE Survivor fan, but now I can't watch it! I have school on Wednesday nights and I have to miss my favourite and only show that I watch. . . . Maybe I should just drop out.

I can't believe that they are moving CSI: NY & CSI: Maimi. That completely ruins my Friday & Sunday nights. I could care less for Survivor. For all I care they can leave those idiots there to die. The new shows do not sound like anything I want to watch so I won't & I will be watching a lot of movies & rentals. Thank goodness for library rentals.
NO MORE COLD CASE!!!!! THIS IS THE BEST DRAMA ON TV!!! I always love the ending when they play a song from that year while they escort the criminals!!!! I will miss kathryn morris and the other guys too....she is a breath of fresh air...and i dont even like girls.....
I dont care if survivor was on at 2 in the morning I will always watch it.....I have even changed my work schedule form thursdays off to wednesdays off after 20 years..just for survivor...yeah I know get a life....this is my life......go jeff..your the best...I ll always be there watching and waiting for you to ask me to marry you,,,,,hee hee
Ok.. So, for those of you who are pitching a fit that CSI and ghost whisperer got canceled, check other channels like TNT for re-runs.(Duh!)
To those of you who are crying about Survivor and CSI moving to another day... GET A DVR!
