You can now officially add Tim Urban to the list of people who were slightly weirded out by the behavior of Ryan Seacrest during Tuesday night's "American Idol" performance show.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly following the live show Tuesday, the mop-topped singer had this to say and Ryan's decision to start randomly dancing with one of Lee Dewyze's buddies in the audience during Tim's "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You:"
“It was a little weird...because people laughed at [Ryan] dancing in the middle of the song, so I had to zone it out. I could kind of catch it in the corner of my eye that he was dancing. I just tried not to think about it.”
Over the course of Tuesday's episode of "Idol" Ryan did everything from spend too much time chatting with the "Glee" cast to joking about first season co-host Brian Dunkleman on stage.
However, contestant Katie Stevens (who was eliminated Wednesday night) had a simple explanation for the host's behavior -- he had apparently drank a little too much caffeine before the show to compensate for a busy schedule.

Please,please get rid of Ryan Seacrest. It looks like he thinks the show is all about him.
RYAN'S BEHAVIOUR LAST TUESDAY WAS DEFINITELY WEIRD AND DISRESPECTFUL. FIRST OF ALL HE INTRODUCED TIM URBAN AS TURBAN, HOW ODD IS THAT? THEN HE DECIDED TO DANCE WITH MICHAEL SARVER DURING TIM'S HEARTFELT PERFORMANCE. HOW DISTRACTING IS THAT. POOR TIM SINGING HIS HEART OUT WHILE RYAN IS GOOFING AROUND. I WAS KIND OF IRRITATED BY HIS BEHAVIOUR. HOW RUDE!!! JUST GLAD TIM ZONED HIM OUT.
Tim Urban had an amazing performance, and it's sad that Ryan had to act so rude during such a heartfelt performance.
Caffeine? That's what their calling crack these days? Any excuse they come up with won't change the fact that Ryan is a petty, spiteful creature of little wit and even less character.
They should give Tim the pimp spot next week to make up for the crap seaweed pulled! That was really unprofessional and I think on purpose to make Tim mess up!
Ryan was completely rude and disrespectful to Tim Urban. Ryan should apologize to Tim on the air. What kind of idiot host doesn't care if he is distracting a performer? Too much caffeine? Right. Tim is actually very good and as Ellen says, adorable. I will be voting for Tim only from now on. He's much better than Aaron, Mike and lately, Siobhan who can't find a note if she was hit by a music stand. Lee and Casey aren't that great either. Tim deserves at least top 5 for his talent and for the crappy treatment he gets from the people that put him there in the first place.

I'm not mad at him BECAUSE most of the time he seems like a nice and helpful host to the contestants. But, I must say it was one of his weirder moments. Maybe he was just thought it was comical etc. He makes jokes all the time. Some are good ones, and some are not.
Ryan Seacrest was extremely rude to Tim Urban. Actually I found that the judges have also been very rude with Tim, particularly Kara. Finally they are realizing that he has star qualities. He is the only contestant with a UNIQUE voice & that has star qualities. BTW I'm getting tired of the judges building up Chrystal. Do you have to be a little unattractive & a little wierd to be on the judges good list. Seriously, I switch the channel when she sings...very boring and predictable performances. It was terrible how they zoombed in on Tim's good looks and labelled him as an actor and not a singer. Very bias....

Most of you folks are delusional...Tim is nice, and he's cute, but he doesn't have the Star quality of an American Idol. He's been going on his good looks...another Sanjai (or however you spell his name). It's not that he doesn't have talent, but he isn't Idol material. He can do karoke...
My family and I noticed how jumpy and weird Ryan was acting all through the show Tuesday night. We wondered if he was trying a new medication, or had decided to alter his "emcee" stature by being goofy. It didn't make any sense, and he came off looking stupid. He seemed a little more pulled together Wednesday night. And he should definitely limit his comments to that of a show host, and not as another judge, on either side of the table!
Let's be honest. Ryan was acting a little "Gay"
