Adam Lambert is spending his time rocking out in California right now, and recently just wrapped up two shows in Costa Mesa.
In the midst of all of this, the "American Idol" singer even managed to find time for an interview -- even while he was getting some makeup applied for the big night. Speaking to Yahoo!, Adam had this to say about how he prepares his makeup for a night of entertainment:
"I get to work with a very talented man ... who's insanely creative and we just kind of fly by the seat of our pants ... we just kind of create."
Adam also said that one of the things he likes to have backstage is SmartWater -- for "electrolytes" if nothing else. He then pretends to act like a spokesman for a minute or two. As for much much makeup Adam puts on, he proclaims that it really depends on time.

My favorite get-up is his short sleeve vest and pants that accentuate the glambudge. Have to submit this in a hurry my husband is sitting near by.
I have to say I agree with you Kat. That blue vest and sparkly pants are veeerry sexy!!! I love the fact that your husband was nearby, that gave me a chuckle. My husband isn't too fond of my appreciation of Adam, but that's his problem. I bought the If I Had You poster of Adam at his Mystic Lake concert and I had it custom framed - dry mounted, double-matted, and acid free glass. It is hanging on the wall next to my side of the bed and it looks Adamazing!!! <3. Now I just have to keep my husband happy, so he doesn't take it down. ;)

Adam is such a sweetheart and a talented man that I agree with whatever he wants to do. Personally I prefer his hair down and not so much makeup, but if he wants more, go for it! He's having the time of his life and I'm all for it.
