A 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck off the eastern coast of Japan on Sunday, and Adam Lambert already has a message to his fans: he's doing just fine. In a new message posted on his Twitter account, the "American Idol" singer had this to say:
"Hardly felt quake. Just Lil sway. :) goodnight all!"
The news of an earthquake is made all the more frightening thanks to recent deadly tremors both in Haiti and Chile. Strangely, both quakes already have an "American Idol" connection. Former contestant Elliott Yamin was in Chile during their disaster, while reigning champion Kris Allen recently visited Haiti as part of a charity mission with the United Nations.
There are currently no reports of any deaths from the earthquake -- the tremor caused some destruction of property, but Adam will be able to continue the rest of his publicity tour without a problem.

Wow this is a first for you Matt, not immaturely comparing Kris and Adam in some way to get hits. It is so old you know.
By the way, when I saw the news this morning about the quake, first thing I thought of was Adam, nothing else.....
So glad Elliott made it out of Chile. His performance Oscar night was awesome.....and he created a buzz when he auctioned off a performance. What a great guy.
there are an average 300 quakes in Japan every year, I have experienced 6.6 on 9th Aug last year. They are not even noticed by the Japanese. For him it must been a brown trouser moment. "Destruction of the propery" as he put it is simply minor damage as the country is designed to cope with the quakes on a daily basis. this is ridiculous,. Whats next? Adams hair do is in danger as Japan enters a rainy season...
who is elliott??
Yeah!!!! Of course Adam wanted to reassure his family, friends and fans. Nobody lifted an eyebrow when people were starting to get worried about Elliot when he was in Chile. He is a celebrity after all, and thus newsworthy. And then there's Adam, the biggest international star to come out of Idol... we're all worried for him of course!!!! He is a superstar. Deal with it! I for one am glad to know he's fine.
