The top ten ladies were slated to perform this evening on American Idol. However, Crystal Bowersox became ill and had to be taken to the hospital. Doctors stated that Crystal would not be able to sing tonight, so the girls sit back and relax while the top ten men of 2010 perform.

The girls will perform Wednesday night on American Idol.

The absolute best performance from the top ten men of American Idol 2010 was given by Lee Dewyze, a 23 year old from Mount Prospect, IL. Simon thought that vocally, Lee was head and shoulders above everyone else, "You may be the one to beat.". Kara felt that Lee had a few pitch problems but, "...the thing is, I can hear you on the radio right now..."

Michael "Big Mike" Lynche, a 26 year old from Astoria, NY was another hit with the American Idol judges. Simon felt that Michael's strength as a performer had gone from a pussycat to a lion within a weeks time and Ellen thought that his performance was the one to beat.

The final top ten male to wow the judges this evening was Alex Lambert, a 19 year old from North Richland Hills, TX. Kara thinks that Alex has an "incredible, recordable voice", but that Lambert does not know what to do with it. She feels he will learn. Ellen believes that Alex is no longer a green banana...he has ripened.

Todrick Hall, a 24 year old from Arlington, TX gave the worst performance out of the top ten men of American Idol 2010. Ellen feels that Todrick's strength lies in his dancing, not his singing and Simon thought that Todrick should dance, not sing. "This was a very corny, bad version of a Tina Turner song.", stated Simon.

The American Idol judges were not impressed with Tim Urban, a 20 year old from Duncanville, TX. Tim was initially cut from the top 12 males of American Idol 2010, but was called back. Simon feels that they made the right decision the first time, when they let Tim go, but Tim had shown a marked improvement this week. Randy noticed pitch problems with Tims performance and thought it had a karaoke feel.

John Park, a 21 year old from Evanston, IL was also not favored by the American Idol judges. Randy didn't think John brought anything new or spicy to the song. Ellen felt the song needed more soul and Simon thought it was a "so what" performance that would be forgotten in 20 minutes time.

That's it for the best and the worst performances from the top ten men of American Idol 2010. Be sure to watch American Idol Wednesday night on FOX to view the top ten women of 2010 perform. Check your local listings for the time in your area.

I just want to know why these 20 are still alive in this competition. Only one of the guys sounded great last night, and it was the last one(don't know what any of their names are). This is gonna be the worst season ever, if they don't pick it up.

I thought that Lee D was great! Casey James wasn't as bad as the judges said. He probably has it all, He can sing, play a guitar & has eye appeal. Mike Lynche was so much better this week. That 16 year old, Aaron, is awesome. The song was too old for him, but, he did a great job! I think the judges all got up on the wrong side of the bed. They were very picky last night!
