With all the speculation that is centered around American Idol and what is happening with the judges, the host of America's Got Talent, Nick Canon mentioned that his superstar wife would love to join the cast of judges. There is no doubt that Carey has the experience, the knowledge and the ear for music that will go on to be successful. She has had countless multi-platinum albums, and so many number one singles that she holds certain records for having so many #1s. She would make a fantastic addition to the show.
According to the report by the Hollywood Reporter, Canon says of Carey:
"She talks about it. She says, 'I would love to do that. She is one of the greatest singers of our time; she would be great. I don't know if she has enough time, though, but if they could work with her schedule, I know she would love to do Idol. Let's start the campaign!"
