Aiden Turner from Dancing With the Stars has been burning up Twitter with words of praise for fellow competitor Shannen Doherty and her partner Mark Ballas. It seems as if the soap star was impressed with the dancing duo, and can’t understand how they were voted out of the competition so early.
Here are a few of Aiden’s most recent tweets:
- “Missing Shannen from DWTS. She did so good. Her partner Mark is so amazingly talented, shame to lose him too! A great experience though.”
- “Shannen, hi luv. Hope you are well. I’d love you to come to celebrate my birthday tonight if you are free. Miss ya.”
- "Shannen Doherty, you were awesome. Missing you already. Doing DWTS won’t be the same without you. Have a safe flight back to LA.”
It seems like Aiden Turner and Shannen Doherty developed a special bond during their short time together on Dancing With the Stars. During last week’s elimination night, Aiden said that he was sitting back stage with Shannen, and that both were keeping their fingers crossed. Unfortunately, Shannen received the fewest number of votes, and was voted off the show after just two weeks of competition. She was the first competitor eliminated in season ten.
However, all is not lost. Shannen Doherty and Mark Ballas both have good attitudes about the elimination, and seem appreciative of their time on Dancing With the Stars. During a joint interview on Good Morning America last week, both said they were surprised by their elimination. However, because of Mark’s knee injury, he would not have able to train with his partner. Shannen also said that she did the show for her father and that he was very proud of her efforts.

What a gentleman Aiden is...not like some of the stars after the vote was revealed last week. Shannen and Mark showed so much class and dignity..I doubt a few of the female stars will be so classy when they get the boot (which I hope is this coming week).
I still believe DWTS booted Shannen off because she would not bow down to the dirty gossip they tried to smear around to the public..shame on them. Shannen is not the BAD Girl they all want want the pulbic to think, seeing her with her dad should prove that. All the gossip rags wanted ugly rumors to be linked to Shannen, but they can't.
WAKE up America..one of the sweetest ladies, hard working actresses and damn good dancer was booted off this stupid show unfairly. If you agree go to the twitter petition to bring Shannen and Mark back.
I have been watching DWTS since the second season, and I don't know why I go through it every season.. (I do love dancing).. Shannon was NOT the worst dancer these past two weeks. It was Kate, and she should have been booted off. Of all the celebrities, Kate showed no improvement from the first to the second week, PLUS I hated hearing the excuses that she was making.. she had the choice of either doing the show or not doing the show, and we know what choice she made... so my advice to her.. shut up, and learn the dance,.. and perform!! You have one of the best instructors / dancers as a teacher.. no excuses!

I too believe that Shannen should not have been voted off DWTS. It should have definately been Kate. Her excuses are lame, and she knew well ahead that her schedule would be long, and away from her kids. I think she wants the public to feel sorry for her. Plenty of other celebrities have had personal problems, and they didn't go on week after week whinning about it. I wish all the other celebrities well, and Shannen just remember most of viewers feel that you were elimanated too soon. Like your dad, I am proud of you as well!
