ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' April 5th: Kate Gosselin and Buzz Aldrin

ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' is suppose to be a dance competition based on talent, but somewhere along the way talent has been replaced by popularity. Take Kate Gosselin and Buzz Aldrin for example.

Buzz and Kate have received the lowest score from the Dancing with the Stars judges for the last three weeks. Yet, on the first 'Dancing with the Stars' results show, Kate Gosselin and Buzz Aldrin were not in the bottom two. Higher ranking Dancing with the Stars Contestants were, resulting in an undeserved vote off.

Buzz Aldrin is dancing with all of the talent his eighty year old body will allow. You have to give the man credit for that. But keeping him in the Dancing with the Stars competition, simply because you admire him for trying, is not fair to those Dancing with the Stars contestants who are more talented. Listen to the judges, watch his performance, then vote on talent. Don't vote for Buzz simply because he is a part of American history.

Kate. Wow. Kate is resented for even being on ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars'. First of all, she is not a 'star'. Secondly, she has no dance ability. This woman is as stiff as they come. No flexibility, no technique, no rhythm and no dance talent. So why is she still in the competition? Popular vote. That is the only explanation.

How can Kate Gosselin be so popular? Because she is a mother of eight? Because she has guest starred on ABC's 'The View'?  Who knows, but this is just another slap in the face for those Dancing with the Stars contestants who are more talented than she, and they all are, including Buzz. 

The Dancing with the Stars talented deserve your vote. Don't waste your vote on the 'popular'. Give credit where credit is due. Vote for the talented dancers. After all ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' is a dance competition, not a popularity contest.
