Pauline and Peter were eliminated "So You Think You Can Dance" season six on the week three results show, Nov. 11, 2009. This was the first week that the viewers got to choose the bottom three couples. Karen and Kevin and Ellenore and Ryan were the other two couples in the bottom three for week three.
The judges felt Pauline was getting by on her personality and that her skills were very much like those in the classroom. The judges felt they never saw Peter's star quality.
Overall, Nigel told the dancers their solo performances did not live up to the Top 4 dancers of season five. He said in the judges' opinions not one of the bottom six deserved to stay with those solo performances. I have to agree with him when it comes to the girls, but not so much with the boys.
I was torn between Ryan and Russell as a favorite solo performance. They are both so different, yet so talent. They're full of energy, personality and unbelievably impressive. I think they both have a lot more to give to and get from the competition. If asked to pick a favorite female solo dance, I couldn't. I wasn't very impressed with any of the female dancers' solo performances, and I have a feeling you won't see Ellenore or Karen around for much longer.
