Ruben was named the winner of the first season of Oxygen's 'Dance Your Ass Off' weight loss competition on Monday's finale. His prize was $100,000 and a brand new outlook on life.

The announcement came after two final dances and one last weigh in.

Eliminated dancers return

The eliminated dancers returned for the finale to show off their new bodies. They were all going to perform a dance together, and they were going to wear the costumes they wore week one. It was shocking to see how much their bodies had changed. Most of the contestants could not fit in to their old costumes, and many said having to take their outfits in four or five inches in just the waist gave them a huge boost of confidence. All together the 12 dancers had lost a total of 420 pounds.

The eliminated dancers came back for the group dance, but they also came back to find out who had won the $5,000 prize that was supposed to go to the eliminated dancer who had lost the most weight. The prize came down to Alicia and Miles, and Alicia took home the prize with a body fat loss of 18.71 percent.

First Performance

The first performance of the night was a freestyle.

Pinky - Hip Hop - Pinky had a serious foot injury while rehearsing for the group performance, but you couldn't tell during her solos. She had a great attitude, and her moves were great. The judges said they appreciate her working hard even in pain, see the confidence and determination and were impressive and looked amazing. Score: 9

Ruben - Country - Ruben brought it all to the table this week. His energy and personality were off the charts, but his moves weren't quite up to par. The judges said they enjoyed the lifts and kicks and loved that he "let it go," but they also said he could've brought more with a different dance. Score: 9

Shayla - Lyrical Jazz - Shayla's performance was beautiful, and she looked amazing. Honestly, she gave me chills! The judges said the performance was beautiful and showed the best of what Shayla had to offer, but they also said there were points when the energy was low. Score: 9.3

Second Performance

The second performance of the night was chosen by the judges.

Shayla - Rhumba - Another absolutely beautiful dance from Shayla. She was just magical to watch, emotionally and technically. The judges said the performance was good but they wanted more partner interaction. They also said the dance was just too lyrical for the Rhumba. Score: 8.7

Ruben - Paso Doble - Ruben was so strong and serious during this performance - perfect for the Paso Doble. It was a really good choice for Ruben. The judges said they loved the posture, the energy and the choreography, and they said Ruben was beyond fantastic and really deserved a score of 11. Score: 10

Pinky - Samba - Pinky was a hot tamale during her Samba! She danced beautifully and never really showed how much pain she was in. It was heartbreaking to watch her at the end, though, when she broke down in to tears because of the pain. "I want my scores," she said. The judges thought the performance was perfect and amazing and showed that this was just the beginning for Pinky. Score: 10
