VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club" returned Monday for season seven with new celebrities, including Kevin Federline, Sebastian Bach and Nicole Eggert.

Guiding the eight celebrities through their journey will be their fitness/drill instructor Harvey Walden, their physician Ian K. Smith and their therapist Rhoda Britten.

Meet the cast

Blue team

  • Kevin Federline - backup dancer, rapper, Britney Spears' ex-husband
  • Tanisha Thomas - season two of "Bad Girls Club"
  • Sebastian Bach - lead singer of Skid Row
  • Kaycee Stroh - actress, "High School Musical"

Red team

  • Jay McCarroll - season one winner of "Project Runway"
  • Nicole Eggert - actress
  • Bobby Brown - singer, Whitney Houston's ex-husband
  • Shar Jackson - actress, Kevin Federline's ex-girlfriend and mother of his children

Day one drama

Day one was full of drama, as expected. From Tanisha throwing up five minutes after arriving on campus to Kevin quitting the second challenge, things were not looking great for everyone on campus. I have to admit, though, I was pretty impressed with Jay and Nicole, who kicked the behinds of the first challenges.

The medic had to be called over when Shar was trying to finish the first obstacle course. She really wanted to finish, but her body just wouldn't let her. I thought it was hilarious that Kevin just hung out on the sidelines while the medic was checking Shar out. Granted, she was OK, but still! You would think he would want to at least peak over to see if the mother of his children was still alive.

Their first night on campus, the celebrities got a little lesson in portion control and healthy eating. It turns out, Mr. Bobby Brown, it is not OK to have grilled chicken, fried chicken and beer for dinner. Who would've known? Bobby isn't the only one who sees food as the number one enemy. Tanisha also has a problem with food choices and portion control, so much of a problem that she dreamed about the chocolate cake used as a poor portion example the first night.

An important part of "Celebrity Fit Club" is therapy. Every celebrity meets with the therapist to discuss the issues that surround their weight gain. First up was Shar, who talked about how hard it was learning that Kevin was also part of the show. Honestly, she sounded like a woman on the verge of checking herself in to a mental institute. Beyond her weight loss, Shar is struggling to move past the Britney/Kevin/Shar situation when no one else will let her.
