Find out which model was eliminated on part two of episode two

The decision was between Alasia or Gabrielle leaving the competition, but host Tyra Banks said Gabrielle's photos were unimpressive and caused silence, not the needed debate, among her and the other judges. Tyra also mentioned that Alasia was only staying because special guest and Vogue editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley said he would hang her photograph in his salon in his home.

Sell the product

The part one photo shoot was a nude photo shoot. The models were allowed to choose one item - whether it be an accessory or clothing item - for the photo shoot, but the rest was all natural. The object was to sell their product, plus make themselves look incredible.

"American Idol" 9 Top 6 girls take the stage

This was a huge eye opener for all of the women because it was their first time really watching their competition, and after the photo shoot several of the models thought Krista would be heading home because Jay had told her he liked her photos when he covered her face. Not good!

Judges' panel

  • Ren (hat) - Loved the edgy look; Great job looking sexy but not too sexy
  • Angelea (shoes) - Great job showing off and selling the show; Hair was so sexy
  • Alexandra (necklace) - Felt the hand covering her breast was too forced; Didn't move them

  • Raina (ring) - Love that her hands are so graceful; Gives off a vibe of luxury
  • Anslee (clutch) - Face is stunning; Needed to work her body more
  • Simone (jacket) - A little stiff; Needs to smile with her eyes more; Skin is beautiful
  • Gabrielle (leggings) - Losing her neck; Looked like she was covering/hiding herself
  • Jessica (shorts) - Definitely high fashion; Amazing hair; Really has a modeling gift
  • Krista (scarf) - Hair makes her look like a 1960s mannequin
  • Naduah (sunglasses) - Faces is great but head looks detached from body; Very confident looking
  • Brenda (watch) - Look in her eyes was alluring and wonderful
  • Tatianna (scarf) - Didn't do enough different poses; Smiling with the eyes is through the roof
  • Alasia (vest) - Judges were speechless because her photo was very provocative and jacket was on backward; Andre loved the photograph, though

IMO she ruined it for herself by playing the
"Biracial Pity Card" ('fake-tears') at her
intro when she noted she was biracial

In the past, the 'Card' did work -- but
today, most people are just worn out
    by 'Biracial-Whining' & feeling everyone
    has to walk-on-eggshells around biracials
(to avoid causing upset/offense over nothing)

Mixed-Race is just too common in today's
world for any biracial to expect to "win" by just
pulling out the good old "Tragic Mulatto" Card

    The 'Card' is over-played
