Around 11:51 a.m. Monday morning, the body of Casey Johnson, heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune and fiancee of reality star Tila Tequila, was found in her home in Los Angeles.
Authorities are investigating the 30 year old heiress' death; her fiancee Tila Tequila admits the two fought last week and she'd been unable to reach Johnson since December 29. Authorities admit that Johnson, daughter of New York Jets Owner Woody Johnson, may have been dead in her home for several days before her body was found.
Tequila tweeted early this morning that she "can't stop these haunting visions" of her fiancee because they "made such a lovely couple" and were "only beginning to spend the rest of our lives together..."
The Johnson family released a statement saying that they are "mourning its tragic loss and [request] privacy during this very difficult time."
Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Officer Sara Faden said the department doesn't suspect foul play.
Our officers conducted a preliminary investigation which appears to be an apparent natural death... There was no evidence of any foul play and the case is now being handled by the coroners, pending a toxicology report.
Although results from the socialite's toxicology reports will not be available for several weeks, rumors are flying that the heiress had a problem with prescription drugs. The heiress has battled a drug addiction for years and been in rehab several times. Will Casey Johnson be added to the long list of celebrities taken too soon because of drug addiction?
