It's what most of us feel like doing when we're on a diet.
Perhaps he was feeling low on iron; or maybe he mistook the police car's white bumper for a jumbo bone. Regardless of his motives, Winston the dog has got some seriously strong chops.
"Jaws"
As reported this morning on ABC's "Good Morning America" and local affiliate WCPO's "Good Morning Tristate", Winston a mixed breed dog, escaped from a fenced in area and began a tug-o-war with a Chattanooga police cruiser. Winston won.
According to an Associated Press report, by the time McKarney Care and Adoption Center captured Winston, he'd already made chew toys out of not only the police cruiser's bumper, but two of its tires as well.
Do the crime...do the time
Winston was sentenced to obedience and canine good citizen classes, eliciting sympathetic howls from dogs in Winston's "hood" who know that this is the kiss of death to his "bad ass" image. However, in addition to his classes, Winston will also be required to wear a tag that says "potentially dangerous" which his canine cronies ( a few of which made an appearance in the video below) consider a badge of honor that he'll wear with pride.
A judge ruled that charges against Winston's owner, Nancy Emerling, will be dropped if the classes are completed successfully.
The mutt mantra on the street? Don't mess with Winston.
